Rt. Honourable Pharm. Nnolim Nnaji is not just representing us (Ndi Nkanu Land) in the National Assembly...he is fighting for us, thinking for us, and delivering for us (Ndi Nkanu).

In a country where many have grown tired of empty promises, Rt. Honorable Nnolim Nnaji chose a different path, the path of action, compassion, and visible results.

Because of Rt Hon. Nnolim Nnaji, hope is no longer just a word… it is something people can see and touch.

He attracted and constructed good roads that now connect Nkanu communities.

*Before You Judge Or Rate Some Laudable Achievements Of The Distinguished Senator Kelvin Chukwu - Know And Understand The True Power Of A Nigerian Senator*

A Nigerian Senator serves in the National Assembly, representing an entire senatorial district. His or her primary duty is to make laws that shape the future of the nation, but beyond that, his or her role carries deep responsibility to the people they represent.
He or She speaks for their constituents — bringing the struggles of rural farmers, traders, students, and workers to the national stage.

When roads are bad, schools are failing, or insecurity rises, it is the Senator’s duty to raise those issues and push for solutions.

Senators also oversight government activities. This means they monitor ministries, agencies, and public spending to ensure that the people’s money is not wasted or stolen.

*In many ways, they act as watchdogs of democracy.*

*OGBEKE/UKURUTA AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY AGBANI TOWN UNION EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE*

VANDALISM AND THEFT OF OUR COMMUNITY ELECTRICITY TRANSFORMER

The leadership of Ogbeke/Ukuruta Autonomous Community regrets to inform Ndi Ogbeke/Ukuruta and the general public of the unfortunate vandalism and theft of our electricity transformer located within Akpueke market square of Ogbeke.

Between 1st Sunday night/early hours of Monday 2nd March 2026, a few hours after the Town Union Executive Committee met and resolved amongst other issues affecting Ogbeke/Ukuruta made payment for surveillance cameras for the security of the transformer, unknown criminal individuals unlawfully tampered with and vandalized our community transformer, carting away vital components and rendering it inoperable.

This criminal act has resulted in a complete power outage in our community, making life difficult for our people.

Recall that a few months ago the leadership of Ndi Ogbeke/Ukuruta appealed for financial donations from well-meaning sons of Ndi Ogbeke/Ukuruta for the repair and replacement of vital parts of the transformer earlier stolen by unknown individuals.

The destruction of our electricity transformer is not only an attack on public infrastructure but also to embarrass, sabotage the progressive efforts of our leaders and direct setback to our shared development.

We strongly condemn this act of sabotage and assure our people that the matter has been formally reported to the appropriate security agencies.

Investigations are currently ongoing, and we are working closely with law enforcement authorities to ensure that those responsible are identified and brought to justice.

We urge people to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities around private/public facilities to the security agencies or community leadership.

Protection of our public infrastructure is a shared responsibility.

We appeal for calm, cooperation, and unity at this time.

Together, we will overcome this challenge and continue to build a safer and more resilient community.
