A woman in Yola Adamawa State took her husband's Phone and checked his Facebook activities; she saw romantic chats with women. She sat down and thought of a way to separate him from the women. She came up with a beautiful idea, without even the husband's knowledge. She came up with the following methods

1- She copied all his chats with one of the women.

2- She opened a new Facebook account with a Male name.

3- She sent a friend request to the husband, he accepted the request.

4 - She introduced herself to him. She said "I'm Abu Dar'daee by name, a Member of BOKO HARAM. I saw all your chats with my wife. I want to warn you to stay away from her if you really want to remain alive. To clear any element of doubt, I have all the chats with me and here they are, you can see.

5- So, if you don't stop chatting with my wife, I'll s laughter you like Ram.
6- I know you. I know your name is Jamilu, your father's name is Mohammed, your mother's name Khadija, you have 3 children. Al'ameen, Zahara and Yusuf. Abdulrahman is your best friend and Usman is your neighbor. You are a Lecturer working at FCE. You also go to work 9:30am with your friend Usman, you follow Jambutu street and you spend time together. I'm warning you if you dare call, text or chat with my wife again, I will slaughter you like a Ram as I said earlier".

The wife was close to him while he read the message. As he was reading it, he kept sniffing and repeating Innalillahi WA innaillaihirraji'un. She asked him what happened, he said nothing. He immediately deleted his Facebook and Whatsapp apps and every other social media app.

The following morning, he went and sold the phone in the market and bought an ordinary Nokia. He told his wife to always wake him when ever it's time for prayers.

The woman said since that day, her husband has been observing prayers regularly and spending more time with the family.

Isn't that better than settling the matter with a knife?

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY

YOU WANT TO SURVIVE IN LAGOS: 17 Things you must not do.

Preamble: Lagos is a melting pot of different cultures and ethnicities, with people from various parts of Nigeria and other countries residing in the city. The city has a vibrant music and art scene, and its streets are filled with colorful markets and bustling shops. The city is also home to several historic sites and landmarks, including the National Museum Lagos, Lagos Island, and the Slave Trade Monument.

Lagos is a bustling city located in the southwestern region of Nigeria, in West Africa. With a population of over 20 million people, it is the most populous city on the African continent and one of the fastest-growing cities in the world. Lagos is known for its vibrant energy, rich cultural heritage, and dynamic economy.

But: Despite its many positive attributes, Lagos faces several challenges, including traffic congestion, inadequate infrastructure, and high levels of poverty. However, the city's resilience and entrepreneurial spirit have enabled it to thrive and grow, making it one of the most exciting and dynamic cities in Africa.

1. On a bus, When you sit by the window. Never operate your phone, It will be snatched from your hand. This is a quintessential occurence in some surbuban parts of Lagos such as Agege and Mushin. In fact, anywhere in Lagos.

2. Whenever someone greets you on the road, Do not answer him or her especially when he approaches you from behind.

3. If you see people fighting, Mind your business!!. I repeat MIND YOUR BUSINESS!!

4. You must learn how to argue with a bus conductor, when he tries cheating you.
And please whenever you do. Please don't use Standard English. You must have had a good knowledge of Pidgin before you come to Lagos. If not I can teach you.

5. Walk with a known Nigerian, on the first weeks of your stay in Lagos. He'll show you the ropes or else you go suffer.

6. Whenever you're walking in a deserted area in Lagos. Walk like a gangster, not like a responsible person. If you do, Miscreants will feel you're defensive and wouldn't come close to you. Street sense ✌

7. Anything you did not find on your head, Please don't pick it. (You understand what I mean).

8. When you're crossing the road. Turn into a Ronaldo. Cars come in massive droves. They won't hit you but you must learn how to dribble them.

9. When you want to buy soft drinks, Buy soft drinks from people hawking in the traffic. It is believed that the drinks taste sweeter than the ones bought from people in shops😅. Just a belief!!

10. When you see a large number of people running, don't wait or ask questions. Just run with them. RUN RUN RUN!!! Ask when it is safe!! Run o

11. Never leave Lagos without taking a ride on Third Mainland Bridge. It is a sin😅

12. Don't dance to any music you hear, never stare or laugh at people. Don't speak to anyone in the bus until they speak to you first.

13. Whenever you walk in a crowded area, hold your phone firmly in your hand, not in your bag or pocket or else Sope oti lo.

14. Whenever you want to ask for Directions, say this. "Sorry, Please, Excuse me...then ask your question". It is compulsory to say all of them. Don't omit any. Everybody is angry in Nigeria.

15. It's often said that the number of people who are mentally normal in Lagos aren't up to 5. In essence, If a Lagosian teases you, don't take him serious. Just be cool to prevent issues. We're mad in this Lagos!!. I am the only normal person in my area.

16. There's one popular "Den of scammers" in Lagos called Computer Village. It is the most popular place for buying and repairing electronic devices. But please and please open your eyes very well before you buy fufu package in a phone case or buy a swapped electronics.

17. And lastly LAGOS is a comedy centre, you will love the drama you will be seeing around.

Lagos, Its mix of tradition and modernity, combined with its rich culture and entrepreneurial spirit, makes it an exciting and attractive destination for people from all over the world. Lagos is very very fun and sweet once you understand the system. It's not a bad place to be, it's just a place to be SMART and WISE!!

EKO ILE OGBON!!!

Story of Ayinla Omowura : A Yoruba music legend

Waidi Ayinla Yusuf Gbogbolowo better known as Ayinla Omowura (1933 – 6 May 1980) was a Nigerian Apala musician born in Itoko, Abeokuta in 1933

Omowura was the son of Yusuff Gbogbolowo, a blacksmith, and Wuramotu Morenike.
He did not have formal education and started out working at his father's smithy but left and went on to working several jobs as a driver, butcher, carpenter and bus park boy.

He was however discovered by Adewole Alao Oniluola, who later became his lead drummer and started an apprenticeship in Olalomi, an Apala variant.

Omowura was known for feuding with other musicians including his superiors such as Haruna Ishola, whom he later acknowledged to be his superior. He also feuded with Ayinde Barrister, Fatai Olowonyo, Yesufu Olatunji and Dauda Epo Akara.

These feuds coloured his music over his discography. He was noted to have a quick temper and engaged in ma*****na use and in physical altercations.

Despite being unlettered, Omowura was enlightened about current events and had a command of puns, proverbs innuendos and metaphors. He was a social commentator, critic as well as a moral instructor.

He often served as a mouthpiece for passing on government policies to the masses and was also a messenger of the masses back to the government. In his 1976 album, Owo Udoji he hailed the government for salary increment but however demanded for same increment in the private sector In Orin Owo Ile Eko, He explained the Lagos rent edict to his listeners and also praised the Mobolaji Johnson-led Lagos State government for the masses-oriented programme.

He influenced the response of the people to the policy and also explained the National Census of 1973 in his album National Census.

the 1973 album, Challenge Cup '73 he explained the change in driving from the left to the right hand side and the change of the Nigerian Currency from the colonial Pound Sterling to the Naira and Kobo during the General Yakubu Gowon-led military government.

Asides current affairs, he used his albums to extol the importance of sporting activities. His music also preached positive change in society and portrayed both mourning and celebration.

He was also a critic of women who bleached their skin and promiscuous women.
He had many aliases and earned the moniker, Hadji Costly because of his flamboyant dressing in agbadas made of high quality Swiss lace and gold jewellery.

His other aliases include Egunmogaji, Anigilaje and Alujannu Elere which demonstrated his status as the enfant terrible in music of the time.

Omowura was a muslim by birth, he practiced the religion and performed the Hajj in 1975. He however also engaged in traditional religion practices. He was married to Afusatu of the Ile Eleni clan and Tawakalitu Owonikoko.

Omowura was killed in a bar room brawl on May 6, 1980 aged 47. He died from a cerebral haemorrhage after being struck on the head with a beer mug by Bayewu, his manager at the time.

Bayewu was taken to court and sentenced to death a few years later. On the day he died, EMI Records recorded at least 50,000 copies sale on each of his albums.

Following the death of Omowura in 1980 and Haruna Ishola in 1983, the popularity of Apala music waned and has been largely replaced by Fuji music. New school Nigerian musicians, Terry Apala and Q-dot Alagbe have made music influenced by Omowura's style.
