Day 31

Focus: Occupy Till He Comes

Read and Meditate On:

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. (NKJV)

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (NKJV)

Matthew 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (NKJV)

Mark.16.15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. (NKJV)

Luke 19:12 Therefore He said: "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. (NKJV)

Luke19:13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, "Do business till I come.' (NKJV)

Exhortation:

Our theme text is taken from the book of Saint Luke 19:12-13NKJV. We saw the Lord Jesus giving a parable of a certain prince who was making a journey to a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. He then called his ten servants and gave them ten minas, meaning each of them got a mina. He then instructed them to do something with what they had received and that is "to do business with what they had received" and he then left for his country.

What does this means to us today as believers in Christ Jesus? At the ascension of the Master; the Lord Jesus instructed his disciples including us today and every believer of all generations to do business with the gift of the Holy Spirit that should come upon the apostles after He had left.

And they indeed followed these directives He gave and did business with the gift they received on the day of Pentecost. We see in the book of Acts and other Epistles how the apostles did mighty things with the gift of the Holy Ghost they received. Souls were won and taught daily.

We had also been equally given the gift of the Holy Spirit as well to do business of soul winning as we preach the gospel to everyone. He is therefore counting on you and me.

Our life will continually experience effortless progress as we become conscious and act based on this Instructions. Resources needed to keep on advancing in life will keep on gravitating towards you as you live with this conscious.
Therefore win souls till He comes. Hallelujah!

Prayer: Pray and thank Him for the gift of Salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Pray that you are empowered to be faithful in soul winning business in and through your professionalism all the days of your life till the Lord Jesus returns.

Pray for the hunger to keep on Studying to showing yourself approved unto God which would lead to winning of many souls into the kingdom through right teaching in Jesus name.

Pray that you are daily and abundantly supplied with every resources you need to fulfill these mandate without any constraints in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

Day 30

Focus: Advancement Without Limitations

Genesis 26:13 The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; (NKJV)

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." (NIV)

Galatian 3:14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. (NIV)

Galatians 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. (NKJV)

Proverbs 4:18 The ways of right-living people glow with light; the longer they live, the brighter they shine. (MSB)

Exhortation:
From our opening scriptures, we saw how Isaac the son of Abraham prospered without any form of limitation whatsoever. The famine in the land couldn't limit his prosperity.

We saw how he followed in the footstep of his father Abraham by learning to making enquiry from the Lord before making and taking final decisions of life.

The blessedness of the faith life is living and acting on the instructions of God's Word (Written and Rhema-spoken) you read in the Holy Scriptures or that came through the revelation of the Holy Spirit in your heart as you walk with the Lord Jesus on a daily basis.

Isaac obeyed the instructions of the Lord to stay where he was despite the famine in the land. And what was the outcome? He prospered exceedingly and reaped an hundred fold and it didn't stopped only at that. He began to prosper till the Philistines envied him.

What has God spoken to your heart? What are His timely instructions to you? It's time to act on His Word. They are the secrets to your continuous and consistent advancement in life.

Prayer: Pray fervently in the tongues of the Spirit for the spirit of grace for prompt obedience to the instructions in His Word and the timely leading of the Holy Spirit leading to your all round prosperity and continuous advancement in your life in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Day 29

Focus: The Purpose of Existence

Read and Meditate On:

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Isa.43.21 the people I made especially for myself, a people custom-made to praise me. (MSB)

John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Exhortation: One of the things we should constantly remind ourselves of is on the subject of God's Purpose for our Existence.

Why are we here? Why do we do what we do? Why do we want to make progress and advance in life? How important are all of these?

Life according to the Holy Bible exist to glorify God by knowing Him and making Him known to all of His creations.

Man was originally given the mandate to rule as god on the earth as God rules in the third heaven as its Monarch. Man was given the instruction, the blessing and the commandment to be fruitful multiply and to fill the earth.

All of these were to bring glory and honour to Him. You exist to live your life in such a way to continually bring glory and honour to God. Honour Him with your life. Honour Him with your whole spirit, soul and body.

Let His dream become yours as well. He's saving the world through the gospel in this dispensation. Be involved in it. Let His Purpose influence all of your life's decisions.

We saw this exemplified in the life of the Master the Lord Jesus.He lived to fulfill God's dream and He has also sent us just as the Father God sent Him. Let this be the reason for your existence underlying all you do while on earth.

Pray: Rededicate your life to Him today. Affirm that your life will forever bring glory and honour to His name.

Pray that you are always yielded to divine Instructions for your living as you journey through this earth.

Pray that you fulfill His purpose in your lifetime in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

Day 28

Focus: The Grace Factor in your Race 2

Read and Mediate on:

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

John 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

John 1:16 For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift. (AMP)

Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Exhortation: The grace of God is multifaceted. Grace is God's Providence for man's exploits in the fulfilment of His purpose in and through an individual.

When soldiers, messengers or ambassadors are deployed to represent their countries; they are often supplied with all the necessities to fully carry out their assignment. We can therefore reiterate that Grace is all that a man need to fulfill his divine Assignment. Grace is all encompassing.

Grace-consciouness is Purpose -consciousness. The Lord Jesus is our perfect example to model our life after. The fullness of the grace of God in His life was the basis for His fulfilment in life. We can't go far in life without the abundance of His grace in our lives.

Prayer: Pray fervently in the Spirit, receiving from the LORD the fullness and the abundance of His grace actively working in and through your life. Pray that His abundant grace at work in you will continue to regulate everything in and around your life to work for your advancement in life . Pray more in tongues of the Spirit.
