DAY2: IS TIME TO SHOW THE WORLD HOW TO OPERATE A MUSIC INDUSTRY
Good day everyone...
We dropped a post where we told you to get ready for work. Also in that post we officially introduce the new 9ja Music Industry: Unsigned Artistry Akedemy...an international standard music industry whose operations is designed to favor all sides. We also went ahead further to give you an holistically inward view & detailed structural system of the new music industry. The idea is to carry you along & as well critically inform you on the operations of the new 9ja music industry(Unsigned Artistry Akedem). In the day2 post, we are supposed to published the music laws that will guide our daily operations. But for those of you who are yet to come across the day one post, pls permit us to repeat it again
👉The new music industry(Unsigbed Artistry Akedemy) will consists of companies and independent artists that earn money by creating new songs and pieces and arranging live concerts and shows, audio and video recordings, compositions and sheet music, and the organizations and associations that aid and represent music creators.

-The songwriters and composers who create new songs and musical pieces
-The singers, musicians, conductors and bandleaders who perform the music;
-The companies and professionals who create and sell recorded music and/or sheet music;

*retail and online music stores,
-Performance rights organizations and those that help organize and present live music performances
*sound engineers
*booking agents
*promoters
*music venues
*road crew
*musicians working in a recording studio
*Crowd watching a concert
-Unsigned Artistry Akedemy will also includes a range of professionals who assist singers and musicians with their music careers;
*talent managers,
*artists and repertoire managers, *business managers,
*entertainment lawyers
-The broadcast audio or video music content:
*satellite
*Internet radio stations,
*broadcast radio and TV stations
* music journalists and music critics

*music educators and teachers;
*musical instrument manufacturers;
In addition to the businesses and artists who work in the music industry to make a profit or income, there is a range of organizations that also play an important role in the music industry, including;

Everyone who works in Unsigned Artistry Akedemy will be subject to laws that govern their rights and actions. Music publishers must abide by these laws, as must artists, producers, promoters, and executives. These laws pertain to the terms of record deals, print licensing for sheet music, royalties for artists’ public performances, and more. Anyone who fails to fulfill terms of a contract could be sued for breach of contract, which might involve a lawsuit in which the other party tries to recover damages. Discrimination and wrongful termination are other common issues that can arise.
