There are certain results that you can’t achieve overnight…

There are certain effects that do not manifest overnight…

For example…

You cannot build a mansion overnight

You cannot train a kid into an adult overnight

You cannot build a sustainable relationship overnight.

You cannot build a reputable personal/corporate brand overnight.

You must give it time.

Give it attention.

Give it the right resources.

Building is not a spontaneous activity.

It is a process.

A continuous process.

It takes a conscious and consistent effort over a long period of time.

Whatever it is you’re building right now and it seems as if nothing is working yet, I need you to calm down and…

Give it time.

Give it attention.

Give it the right resources.

Don’t subject yourself under unnecessary pressure because things are not going exactly how you want it.

Sustainable growth is not spontaneous.

Building is a process.

He was very sick.

His friends took him to the hospital.

He was admitted and the doctor advised him to run series of tests including HIV to ascertain what the problem is.

Malaria and typhoid tests came back positive that same day.

While they were expecting the other test results, the doctor started treating malaria and typhoid.

As he was recovering very fast, the HIV test result came and it was also positive.

The doctor broke the news to him.

He was devastated and broken.

Within hours, all his body systems broke down.

He couldn't eat and he couldn't sleep.

Within one week, he emaciated seriously to the extent he couldn't walk by himself again.

Then something dramatic happened after two weeks.

The lab discovered that they made a mistake with the results.

They had swapped his sample with another person's own.

He is HIV-negative.

The doctor got the news and summon the courage to break the news to the patient.

Doctor: Sir, we are sorry

Patient: For what, doctor?

Doctor: There was a mistake with your blood sample submitted for the HIV test.

Patient: How do you mean, doctor?

Doctor: They discovered you are HIV-negative.

Patient: What! Are you serious, doctor?

Doctor: Yes sir! We are very sorry.

The guy that couldn't walk for days, jumped out of the bed and started running around the ward in excitement.

Everyone in the hospital was shocked at the scene.

What happened?

What changed?

Where did the strength come from?

The power of the mind.

We live and die first in our minds.

We are poor first in our hearts.

We are rich first in our hearts.

We are failures first in our hearts.

We are successful first in our hearts.

You can't become in life what you have not become in your mind.

I used to think that maturity was about age and physical development, how wrong I was. I have since found out that age is only but a number, below are 20 definitions of MATURITY

The some bottle of water at a hotel is 200 Naira, at the Airport it is 300 Naira and at some Hotel it is 1000 Naira only.



Same bottle, same brand, same quality and may have even been the same lot in production…



The only thing that changes is the place that it was sold…



Each place gives a different value to the same item…



When you feel worthless, change places, don’t remain there…

Next, Joseph thought about a good way to scale this business. He decides to do advertising to drive traffic to the Website. He used video, text, and image Ads.

Joseph then decided to put the business on steroids by using Social Media Platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram to advertise the Content of the Dental Clinic Website.

When Joseph realized that a good number of the Website visitors were not visiting a second time he knew he needed to nurture them and somehow keep them engaged so that they can book the services of the Dental Clinic. To achieve this he used Email Marketing to run series of Email Campaigns. These Campaigns helped them to have a better understanding of the Services of the Dental Clinic and the benefits they stand to gain by purchasing the services of the Clinic.

Truth be told, it is difficult to undermine Digital Marketing if any business desires to grow or scale.

What is Digital Marketing? (Part 2)

Joseph understood that practice makes perfect and so he decided to run some campaigns for his Elder Brother's Dental Clinic just to get his hands dirty. For starters, he used videos, infographics, and blogs to create awareness for the brand. This is referred to as Content Marketing.

In order to enable his audience to easily see his Content, he employed SEO. He achieved this by creating content around some specific Keywords that were relevant to the desired target audience. He also optimized the Dental Clinic Website and had other credible Websites linking back to it.

Before you knew it, the Website got good rankings such that it appeared on the first page of Searches. Joseph sustained the site optimization until it ranked in the first position. The intriguing thing is that all of these were achieved without spending a dime on advertising. Great stuff.

Next, he needed his audience to see his content. The first step was to create content on specific search keywords that were relevant to the target audience. Joseph made optimizations on the website and have credible websites linking back to the content. At this time the Business in the Dental Clinic started to get a lot of traction.
