Fellowshiping with God...this week Sunday school taught me a lesson of obedient,...hmmm,...so many Christian's as graduated to become a disobedient child...what are you? Are you obeying God command over your life..oh you think you can journey by your strength right...hmmmm, please wise up and learn from our father Abraham..he left is father house to suit God,Gen17vs1...he didn't even know where he was going...ma/sir please no matter what you are facing/diffulties uncountable...obeying God is the best treatment for your sickness...ask God what the next step to take is and he will direct you...the way is narrow but you will get there...focus on Jesus the author and finisher of our fate, avoid distraction.. when it comes don't let it rule you... Don't give room for discouraging taught and you will surely get there in Jesus name (Amen).

3:1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.

3:8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth-men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.

MESSAGE:
God’s desire for all His children is greatness He wishes that they prosper, be in health even as their souls prosper (3 John 2). However, a study of the word of God reveals that there are certain requirements for greatness, three of which are: prayers, praises and worship. John 4:24 says:
God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

Prayer is communication with God in line with His will. In praises we thank God for what He has done, what He is doing and what He is yet to do. In worship, we appreciate God for who He is. God expects all of creation to worship Him; however, there are various categories of wor

*THE REAL TRAGEDY.*

*Read 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9*

*MEMORISE: For then, there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no none ever shall be (Matthew 24:21).*

*EXPOSITION*
Rapture without you will be the worst evil that would happen to you in life. Hope you will not be like the unbelieving generation of Noah who took the warning of God with levity. They paid no attention to God's warnings. Pay attention now; you don't control time and season.

There has always been tragedy due to earthquake, flood, accident, etc., and these will not stop until the real tragedy befalls the world. This real tragedy is not meant to be experienced by everyone but the Devil and those who choose to be victims. It is not going to affect all because it is not man - made like the war in Iraq, Syria, or Boko Haram in Nigeria. The final tragedy is targeted on unrepentant sinners and the wicked people.

The country's good or bad deeds, family pedigree status, or personal achievement is none of the critical to save one from this tragedy, but one's personal relationship with Christ and holy living.

The world has always experienced tragedy from time immemorial, but no one has ever happened and affected the entire world at a time, but this one will. The great confusion that will accompany it will be unprecedented. It is said that there is no new thing under the heaven but sonner than later, a new thing will surface. Its occurrence without you will be tragic. I pray you will not experience this worst worldwide tragedy.

It is an experience that no one will be able to help another. All will be helpless, including the mighty. It is not a natural disaster or calamity. But the only antidote to avoid it is to accept Christ as Saviour, be sanctified, and living a holy life. You can help yourself by being daily rapturable.

*PRAYER POINTS:*
1. God, you have saved my life from the hold and grip of Satan, do not let me fall away from faith.
2. Pray that God will uphold every believer that satan will not have us and he will not sieve us away from faith.
3. Pray that you and your household will not experience the great calamity that will befall the world after rapture.

*WHY GOD CASTS ONE OFF.*

*Read Psalms 44:1-26*

*MEMORISE: You sell Your people for next to nothing. And are not enriched by selling them (Psalms 44:12)*

*EXPOSITION*
There is no doubt that God had been in love with the nation of Isreal right from the beginning. He made them a foretaste of the love He has for the whole world *(John 3:16)*. It is quite unfortunate though, that the people shown this uncommon love failed to justify God's love on them!. This, they did through serial disobediences, disregards and non- challant attitudes to God's ordinances.

This made God to be angry with them. Through, His love for them was intact, yet He punished them *(Amos 3:2)*. God has no favorite He cannot chastise! In fact, being God's favorite' makes Him not to spare you because He does not like you to be discarded immediately, and ultimately *(Heb. 12:5-10)*

Departing from God's Way does not no one any good. Rather, it is invitation of God's other side! One side of God's greatness is of His mercy, grace and favour. His other side is terror, calamity and untold hardship. God knows how to cast His erring one off and He equally knows how to show him mercy, provided he repents. So dear friend, if you don't repent from evil and wicked ways, God will not repent from unleashing the consequence of your act on you in due time! God is both good and severe *Rom. 11:22.*

God does not just cast you off, He also provides platform for you to return to Him. He is not delighted that you become estranged with Him. Return, repent and be revived now. Cease from straying away before He discards you. May this not be your lot.(Amen).

*PRAYER POINTS:*
1. Lord, do not cast us off.
2. Lord, help us to do Your will, so that we continue to enjoy Your favours/mercy.
3. Lord, please always correct Your children in love but do not cast us off.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

*MEMORISE:*
For I known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham, what He has spoken to him *(Genesis 18:19)*

*EXPOSITION*
Confidence is a feeling or belief that one can do something well, or succeed at something. It is an excellent, or a brilliant performance in any activity/assignment being undertaken.

God was certain that some men would not fail Him. He trusted, they will do the right thing in every circumstance, He vouched for them, come rain come sun. He is confident they will be on His side. He knew assuredly that these men can't abandon Him, or deviate from His command. He is convinced that they will remain on His side. They can't just try the second option. No one can take the truth they know from them. *Rom. 8:38-39.*
Job's life is a challenge to the children of God. He was upright, righteous, blameless and feared God, yet calamity befell him and shook him to his foundation. Job 2:3. Nevertheless, he held on to the truth he knew about God. The friends and family's advice and suggestion did not change him.

God said to Abraham that he will do the right thing, and that, Abraham did. These men can't just let Him down; He is the Lord and Master. Lk. 6:46. God wants to gain our confidence. Can He vouch for you? Can He trust you with the little He knows about you? Most believers of our time are Christians during good times and falls at bad times. They are chameleon that changes with time, experience and seasons; very unstable and unpredictable. Their stand is unknown, no one is sure of where they stand, they are neither here nor there. God said He will vomit them for their lukewarmness. *Rev. 3:15-16.* They steal from their lacks, commit fornication and adultery because of financial and marital challenges, and tell lies to cover up misdeeds, because of their masters' actions and family responsibilities, they cheat in their offices, they take undue advantage of the innocent young ones looking for job. God cannot be proud of them.

*PRAYER POINTS*
1. I receive Your grace O Lord, to make You proud in all my endeavour and never to fail You nor disappoint myself.
2. Pray that God will uphold you, so that the challenges of life now, or later will not draw you away from faith.
3. Pray for those who are presently facing trial for the offence they knew nothing about in the law court, that God in His mercy will intervene.
