He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

Loving and faithful God, you have shown us that there are crosses we need to carry in this life. Some of them may even involve those we love.

We believe that you will always be there helping us to follow the way to eternal life in Jesus Mighty Name we pray.

STAND STILL AND SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD

Exodus 14:13
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

In life we often encounter situations that makes us feel like we are trapped and have no where to turn. it is in this moments that fear and anxiety do take hold of us causing us to loose sight of our faith and our trust in God. In Exodus 14:13 Moses encourages the people of Israel with the words that are still relevant to us today.
There are times when we need to hold our ground, to be still and let God fight our battles. we must trust that he will make a way where there seems to be no way. We must have faith that, just as he delivered the Israelites from the hands of Egyptians, he will deliver us from whatever troubles that we face daily.
It is not always easy to stand still and wait on God especially when our natural inclination is to take control and try to fix things by ourselves. But when we stand still and wait on God, we allow him to work in us and through us and we give him the opportunity to show his power and glory in our lives.
So today, let us stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, Let us put our trust in him and be confident that he will never leave us or forsake us. Let us remember that no matter the weight of the obstacles we may be facing, he is always with us, leading us to victory. Amen

Let us pray.
Heavenly father we thank you for your promise to always be with us and to guide us through every trial and tribulation. Help us to stand still and wait on you, even when it is hard to do so. Help us to trust in your power and love, and to be confident in your faithfulness.
We pray that you would show us your salvation and deliver us from all our enemies in Jesus Mighty Name we pray.
Amen

Topic: Do You Want To Be Weary And Faint?

"Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. "

The prophet Isaiah noticed two kinds of people in his walk with God: those who depended on themselves and those who depended on God. Those who depend on themselves wear out and faint along the way, but those who depend on God are given renewed strength.
This renewed strength makes them soar like eagles, they run and don't wear out or get tired, and they walk and do not faint. Dear beloved, you must choose between relying on your own strength and waiting on God.
Depend on His Word for everything, even though sometimes you may have to fast to empower your spirit to be more receptive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Make time to always fellowship with God so that you can be enabled to know and do what He requires from you each day.

Topic: Don't Cover Your Sins!

"Isaiah 30:15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not."

The God of the universe is a holy God and does not trifle with His holiness. Thus, all sins are primarily against God, so when you sin, never try to cover it. Ask God to forgive you and repent from your sin to find rest for your soul. When you cover your sins, you are opening doors for the devil and his cohort of darkness to operate in your life. Before long, they will begin to destroy you and extend it to your family (2 Samuel 12:15 And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick).
Living a holy life produces quietness, peace, confidence, and strength for successful Christian living. Dear beloved, don't compromise on any form of sin but live a righteous life so that you can share in your Father's holiness.
