My laptop 💻 Crashed alongside my phone so I gave it to the engineer (that’s what I call him) to fix it for me💁🏽‍♀️ but the devil decided to do his thing😬.

His mum passed away before he even had time to touch my laptop and now everything is paused⏸.

I’ve always known this man as a jovial person but since his mum passed he’s been dull😢.

I’m talking about a fully grown adult man with a wife and 3 kids. I call him my uncle cuz I knew him through my uncle a very long time ago (I was barely a teenager then) so I always referred to him as my uncle 😮‍💨.

This man can barely find his voice when he speaks, his voice now sounds faint. I guess one would never be able to shake up the de☠️th of a mother no matter how old they get.

But then in my mind that voice just keeps coming👇

“Your mum is a drama queen Mahn❗️

I mean, why now❓why couldn’t she wait until you’ve fixed my laptop ❓she could have waited😭. Man up bro‼️, let’s get this thing done nah, na like this we go dey dey❓”.

But that’s me just being silly and inconsiderate ❓🤨.

But Omo! MY LAPTOP ‼️‼️

Since my phone stopped responding I’ve been using a half dead iPhone 📱 as this is my first time using an iPhone I’m starting to realize why I don’t like iPhones😬

⚠️this is not an attack on iPhone users⚠️

I opened the sim tray to put in my SIM card and I gasped. “No space for SD card”❓I was given the bombastic side eye 😒 which made me feel like a villager.

“You mean they intentionally left no space for a SD card so that they can charge you people for storage”❓

I can’t even send stuff from my PC to my phone without needing a special app on my PC

No I’m not complaining but how do you people use iPhones❓🤷🏽‍♀️

If there's something this season has taught me personally, it's how much I love the peaceful and quiet life😏.

I usually do not go out during festive periods cuz the crowd can easily get overwhelming😬.

But I've been having a lot of self reflection and it's like "why are you always so calm 😌 ". Not like it's a bad thing 🤔 but no loud music, no special cooking (who go wash plates❓🤷🏾‍♀️), special hair or anything.

Just me basking in the serenity 😌.

I get that if you have kids you'd have to make the season special for them but at the same time I feel like we've lost the true meaning of Christmas 🎄 😬.

HERE COMES THE SERMON🥴

Christmas brought us grace, so for me it's more about gratitude and love💜. The love of the most high ❤.

And for me it's simply a time to sit, reminisce and plan but because I'm a loner I tend to isolate a lot during this period.

➕ we've not had power supply for 1 month and 2 weeks , I'm pretty sad about that as work has been moving slow but I refuse to be frustrated 💪🏾💪🏾

I'd also like to communicate more with y'all on here about different thing😬.

I feel like this place is going to be like my diary where I'm going to come and pour out my heart ❤.

Asides growing this page I'd also like to connect with you as I feel like I've not been doing so.

Before you think of throwing it in the bin can you think of another way to give it life as I have done with these two old dresses❓

It's not about being cheap or anything but have you seen the landfills across Africa lately 🤔 ❓

We are literally drowning in textile waste‼️

⚠️Many of these clothes are not made with biodegradable materials so they spread toxins throughout our soil⚠️

Simply giving old clothes a new life is a small step towards a better environment 💁🏽‍♀️

Think about that🤔
