Don’t expect people to be there for you just because you’ve always been there for them.
Not everyone has the same heart as you. Not everyone feels the same responsibility to show up, to check in, or to care when you’re the one who needs it most.

You’ll learn that some people only value you when you’re useful. They love your support, your kindness, your loyalty, but the moment life shifts and you’re the one in need, they disappear.
It hurts, deeply. Because you remember the nights you stayed up for them, the times you listened, the times you carried their pain like it was your own.

But here’s the truth: expecting your heart in someone else is how you break it.
People love differently. Some can’t give what you give, because they were never built like you. And that’s not your fault.

Be proud of your heart, the one that cares, shows up, and gives without keeping score.
Just learn to give wisely.
