You are selling something certain people are not very familiar with, then there are 3 strategies you can start implementing to market and sell your products:

> 1. Create a community of potential buyers, people that will love your business, brand or you the vendor, and most likely buy from you or refer you as their trusted vendor.

> 2. Use lifestyle marketing as a strategy, personally I love this one. Try creating a culture or way of life around your product, it could be through/ with a habit, slang, or belief.

> 3. Tell good and super stories. Tell stories about your products, brand, you, your clients, your journey, people are obsessed with stories (this is why movies, plays and drama can never go extinct).

Dear freelancer, add some of these or all to your 2023 personal growth planning list:

Ps: No pressure, life is a day-at-a-time journey. Don't be pressured by the internet to become something or someone you are not.

☀️Growth is relevant, but take it easy too, that's how it happens. Don't try to grow up in a hurry.

✨1. Create a healthy internet lifestyle: Yes it is hard, or it might be hard because we are digital nomads (with a phone career), we spend most of our time online, on our computer but it is best to start now creating a balance.

What I'd do that you can try:
• Create your work hours and stick to them, is it 9 am to 3 pm/5 pm? Let everything you do concerning work revolve around these times.
• Don't try to do anything work-related when it is 'offline' time.

✨2. Create a mental healing ritual: Lmao, what is a GIGII's post without talking about mental health? 😀
Create a ritual that is solely for your mental well-being.

My tips that you can steal/ learn from:
• Taking big breaks, I mean a whole week to two weeks break.
• Sleep sleep sleep for at least 6-7 hours, as 1 hour always enters work hours 🥴
• Drink plenty of water, the nutrition comes in a glass of water and 🍺👀
• Create boundaries in your workspace, between friends, business, and clients.

🌸3. Try to understand better how the freelance industry works: I am learning something new about this industry every day. From how to get clients, set client boundaries, my duties and responsibilities as a freelancer and what isn't, and how to generate SQL as a freelancer; so much.

To learn more about some of these:
• Follow some experts in the freelance industry, people with over 3+ years of experience sharing related stories so others can learn

• Test and try different things, because you learn from implementing too

• Follow me here and on Twitter I drop some insights about what I learn and experience on these platforms (I'm not an expert, but I am always ready to share something I just figured out with my audience and tribe)

🌸4. Start treating your 'freelancing' as a business: Else you are a freelancer for fun or because it is a side hustle, then it is okay to skip this one. Being a freelancer is being a business owner/self-employed service provider, running your operations like you advise brands to do.
• Track your finances
• Run partnerships relevant to your growth and goal
• Follow solopreneurship news to learn more about how you can scale.

🛑 Stop begging for sales! No one buys from a desperate vendor or salesman.

The moment you understand the value, I mean, the real value your product, time, or service is offering to your target audience you will understand that NO ONE BEGS A HUNGRY MAN TO EAT

👀 Okay, that example was weird but I had to.

>> You are not just a nail technician, you are helping bad bi***es maintain the bad bitch genre/ energy by keeping their PENG PENG looks and also helping them keep neat nails as proper hygiene.

📌 The point is, SEE YOUR BUSINESS FROM THE ANGLE OF VALUE. Understand your worth as a business owner and state your PRICE and benefits with your full chest (purr).

LAMBORGHINI will NEVER run a newspaper 🗞️ ad or beg you to buy their latest edition because they know the value they are bringing in the luxury and automobile industry.

And yes, you can never underprice a good luxury truck 🙂, because you are not on their target customer list.

• 3 reasons why people are not making inquiries about your products and services online and how to solve it:

1. They can't find you: There is a difference between having a page, and using your page to run your business. Use your page to run your business by gaining visibility, using content to gain this visibility, attracting and converting.

2. Poor positioning: You are not positioning as the brand or business they need! There is no trust, they don't feel like they can depend on you.

With so many competitors, they are not sure who to choose. This is where it leads to USP (Unique selling proposition).

You need to have a unique selling proposition/ point (USP) that helps you stand out from the rest. It could be:
• Fast delivery of products
• Free consultation
• Upgrade guide for their current products
• Good customer service
• Or your value/ Personality
>> You need to find something that sets you aside, so they can trust you and see you as the best person for the job.

3. You are pushing them away by sounding too salesy: You don't have to post 10 of your products before they buy. You have to lure them and feed on their desire 👀.
People don't buy what they need all the time, they also buy what they feel will help them grow. This is how you sell, use these desires to convince them.
