Is This A Scam???

My husband's Anuty was hosting a party and we got invited.

Before we left the house,my husband told me we are not going to eat anything there,that he is angry with the anuty.that we are just going formality sake.

I told my husband is somehow ooh but lets just take only drinks.How can u attend a party and not take something.Is better we don't go.
He still maintains his stand.

On getting there,many of the family members was present.plenty foods and drinks.Me was tempted ooh.I won't lie😭🙆

I maintain my cool.using gist to cover up😋🙆.About 30mins into the party,I saw my husband drinking, laughing and talking with so much excitement😳🙆chim ooh..Is this a joke or what???

Is my husband trying to scam me or do me april fool😏🤔
I went to where he was,touched him and whispered in his ears...babe how far na?what about our plan?My husband pretend like say he don forget and as I still dey talk,his nephew just came with a plate of peppered chicken 😋

The man just collected the thing and start eating it as if he has not tested chicken before!

My people I just excused myself🤔

UPDATE: On Ibadan cloth vendor that d!ed in Wetland Hotel

According to a news that was published by the Punch Newspaper online, it was reported that the suspect in the case of an Ibadan-based Instagram cloth vendor, Adeshina Olayinka, popularly known as Khadi, who d!ed at Wetland Hotel, Akobo, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, is now in police custody.
It was the man who presented himself to police operatives, after hearing the news of the ugly incident online.

However, when Punch correspondent visited the hotel, the manager and supervisor were not on around, but a staff member, who spoke to Punch correspondent under the condition of anonymity, said that they would not have known, until 12 noon check out time if not for the power bank that one of the receptionists lent the deceased.

So, when we discovered that she was still breathing, we quickly called police at Akobo Police Station but unfortunately, she d!ed before getting to the hospital.

She said, “So, we called the suspect. The man was shocked when we told him that the person he lodged with has d!ed.We informed him about the incident so, he rushed down to the hotel to present himself to the police. The case has been transferred to the state CID and actually, he is one of our customers here. He always patronises us and when he came around (before he presented himself to the police), the man said she complained that her body was weak the previous night and that was why he just allowed her to rest."
