They call them the ember month.

Months when people become more careful.
Months associated with accidents, losses, bad news and unexpected tragedies.

And honestly, sometimes, the stories we hear can make us afraid of what the remaining months of the year might bring.

But today, I came with a different announcement.

September will do you well.

September will not be your month of loss.
It will be your month of preservation.

You will not receive the call that will break your heart.
You will not be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Your going out and your coming in shall be preserved.

Where others are experiencing disappointment, may you experience favour.
Where others see closed doors, may doors open for you.
Where you have cried in secret, may September give you a reason to smile openly.

This month, may God go ahead of you.
May He protect your family.
May He protect everything that concerns you.
May He order your steps and surround you with divine favour.

I don't know what the first eight months of this year looked like for you…

Maybe you struggled.
Maybe you lost something.
Maybe some prayers are still unanswered.

But September is not too late for your testimony.

I declare that this month will carry good news to your doorstep.

No tragedy.
No shame.
No devastating loss.

Only goodness, mercy, favour, protection, open doors and unexpected blessings.

And before this year ends, you will look back and say:

“Indeed, God was good to me.”
