SUBJECT: WARNING REGARDING FRAUDULENT ADMISSIONS AND EMPLOYMENT SCHEMES
This notice serves to alert the public to ongoing fraudulent activities falsely using the name of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO).
It has come to our attention that unscrupulous individuals are circulating misleading information and making false claims regarding student admissions and employment opportunities at FUNATO. These acts are intended to deceive and defraud members of the public.
The University Management hereby clarifies the following:
1. NO ADMISSIONS HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED: The University is currently finalizing essential processes with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). No student admissions have been approved or concluded at this time.
2. NO ACTIVE EMPLOYMENT PORTAL: The University has not launched any official platform, website, or portal for recruitment or employment applications.
3. NO AUTHORIZED PAYMENTS: The public is strongly advised against making any payments to individuals or portals claiming to offer admission or employment on behalf of FUNATO. The University will never request unauthorized payments for these purposes.
The public will be formally notified through our official communication channels once legitimate admission and employment processes commence.
The Management of FUNATO is fully engaged in resolving these preliminary matters and assures the public of its commitment to transparency and due process.
