A US federal judge, Beryl Howell, has reportedly given Trump-appointed attorney Jeanine Pirro just four additional days to comply with an order concerning records linked to allegations involving President Bola Tinubu.

Pirro had reportedly requested 10 more days, but Judge Howell granted only four, setting August 21, 2026, as the new deadline.

The records reportedly involve files held by the US Department of Justice, FBI and DEA, in a case that has been pending for more than three years.

Fleeing Celebrity Drug Kingpin Arrested As NDLEA Smashes Co***ne Cartel

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a self-styled luxury goods dealer and social media influencer, Afolabi Kazeem Michael, popularly known as “KC Luxury,” as he allegedly attempted to flee Nigeria.

The NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), disclosed this while addressing journalists in Lagos on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

According to Marwa, the operation followed the interception of a 184.50-kilogramme consignment of co***ne concealed for onward export through a courier logistics channel in Lagos.

Following the seizure, Marwa directed the formation of a Special Investigation Team to uncover the wider network behind the shipment.

The cartel was reportedly hoping to make as much as ₦39 billion from the consignment through its international distribution network.

Working with the management of the courier company involved, NDLEA operatives traced the shipment through a network of intermediary companies and individuals, leading to the arrest of two key suspects.

The first suspect, Lawal Mujab Kehinde, a staff member of the logistics company through which the co***ne was processed, was allegedly found to have maintained a direct and sustained relationship with the cartel’s Nigerian coordinator.

Investigators also established that Kehinde allegedly packaged and processed consignments for the syndicate before routing them to the United Kingdom, other parts of Europe and Asia, for which he was reportedly paid in cash.

The second and more prominent suspect is Afolabi Kazeem Michael, popularly known as “KC Luxury.”

Marwa said investigations identified KC Luxury as the alleged Nigerian arrowhead of the cartel.

According to him, the suspect presented himself publicly as a social media influencer and businessman dealing in gold, jewellery and luxury goods, while allegedly using the glamorous image to conceal a criminal enterprise involved in moving co caine along a route from South America through Nigeria to the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia.

The NDLEA said investigations into the cartel and its international network are ongoing.

Pastor Enenche Challenges FG: Let Census Determine Nigeria’s Largest Religion

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has challenged the Federal Government to conduct a credible population census that would also capture Nigerians’ religious affiliations.

Enenche made the call during his sermon on Sunday at the church’s headquarters in Abuja while reacting to recent remarks by Islamic cleric Sheikh Yahya Jingir, who claimed that Muslims outnumber Christians in Nigeria.

According to Enenche, the only way to settle the argument is through a credible census where Nigerians can freely identify their religion.

“If you think you are superior, why didn’t you people allow for the census all these while?” he asked.

The pastor also warned against taking Christians and the church for granted, insisting that Christians have a significant presence across the country.

His comments have once again stirred the debate over Nigeria’s religious population and the need for an accurate national census.
