BEING SMART IS GREATER THAN BEING EDUCATED. HOW DOS AMBUSHED NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT IN FINLAND
The Nigerian Government had planned to murder IPOB in Finland through Simon Ekpa's case. The game plan was to have Simon Ekpa strongly claim to be an IPOB member which he did at the earliest time of his case. The plan was that after conviction of Simon Ekpa as "an IPOB member", it will set in the judicial precedent for further hunting of IPOB members all over the world as "terrorists" holding strong reference in Finland court decision and documents.
When the leadership got to know about that through intelligence sourcing, the leadership applied to the Finnish Court through IPOB Finland to join as a witness against Simon Ekpa as a non member. The Nigerian embassy in Finland opposed IPOB testifying against Ekpak, knowing their planned end games. The leadership wrote series of letters to the court for admission of IPOB as a witness against Simon Ekpa claims of membership.
The prosecuting counsel after series of deliberation, agrees that the court hears IPOB witnesses. Both the Nigerian embassy and Ekpa were shocked when informed that IPOB witnesses are coming to testify in the court. That very testimony under oath, deflated the advance conspiracy of Nigerian state against IPOB and MNK.
When the leadership was in the move to save the struggle against the advance conspiracy, those who have access to MNK blackmailed the leadership over the planned move to testify against Simon Ekpa. They opposed it in the name of useless "brothers testifying against brothers". Today, same people are on the Internet referencing such bold rescue moves. That is to tell you that spoilers are inconsistent. When you are sinking, the jettisoned and when you are paying them, they sing your praises. Who believed that same people who cherished and loved Simon Ekpa to the point of organizing prayer sections for him and running PR for him would be posting against him after conviction? When you have a corrupt friends, you absolutely have no friends or relatives.
If the Nigerian government have had their way, they would have had a judgement that strongly linked Simon Ekpa with IPOB and use it to push for tracking of IPOB funds and supporters as terrorists funding. They would used it as a reference point to import in their persecution of MNK.
This is what happens when people think not talk without thinking. What the DOS have proven in critical times is hard decision taking that saves we all. Imagine IPOB is indicated in Ekpa's case, those of us in diaspora would have seized being IPOB members to avoid losing their jobs as terrorists financiers. And for those of us in asylum process, it could have been too damaging to recover from just as PDP and APC members are struggling in Canada.
It is on record that Simon Ekpa was convicted as a lone wolf 🐺 not a member of IPOB. Imagine the leadership sat idly or listened to those accessable to MNK who were opposing IPOB testifying against Ekpa, what would have been talking now is proscription in Europe. Did the decision and move of the DOS saved only us? No, it saves both the !diots who have been maligning the DOS, opposing her and even our Biafran brethren on asylum with IPOB. That is why wisdom should prevail over sentiments and ruining.
