Have you ever considered catalog modeling?
Catalog models showcase brands by wearing their pieces (mostly clothes.) In online stores, they wear the dresses you’re about to buy, same as in lipstick stores, and salon advertisements, etc.
A catalog model does not have to tread on the runway to showcase dresses. And usually, physical auditions are unnecessary.
When it comes to body size and type, catalog models have limitless options. Everyone’s body is great for a brand. So, whether you are a size 0 or size 2, a certain brand needs a model like you.
Unlike runway models, catalog model also have the most flexible modeling opportunities. First, they don’t necessarily have to travel for shoots. With a great instagram presence, for instance, you can easily become a catalog model. The brands hiring you want to see how you could model other outfits. And that is obvious enough through the pictures you take, wearing the outfit.
Secondly, there are no strict age restrictions on catalog modeling. While an adult can model a lingerie brand, a child can model a baby skincare brand. So catalog models do not worry about age, or location limitations.
More importantly, a catalog model can make as much money as he/she wants if she works with the right agency/brand. Catalog models can make as much as $1000 per shoot, even if they are taking the pictures from home!
That is sure a great way to make money, meet brands, and start one's modeling journey, without traveling anywhere!
