This message is about having we having a long term goal for our continuous existence to help us edge against the negative trends and happenings in the world.
Your kingdom investment via stewardship and seed sowing is your sure bet for your sustainable peace, health and prosperity when the reverse is the case for the people of the world.
Matthew 7:24-27
[24]Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[25]And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
[26]And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
[27]And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
With the scriptures above, think life time divine health. Think life time heavenly insurance. Think about a life void of troubles in the nearest future. Think about your continuous divine security and that of your family and inheritance. Think about edging against inflation that is, high cost of living. Think about having a heaven backed alter that will speak for you against any evil day to come.
Think about kingdom investments that will be erasing seasonal problems, detrending negative patterns, fight off ill hereditary patterns from both your paternal and maternal sides (1 Timothy 5:24).
This is the time to target exponential growth against worsening situations that grows exponentially (2 Corinthians 9:6; Luke 14:28).
This is “the time” to watch and evaluate our lives and happenings around our family, loved ones, our environment, our belongings, our nations and the world at large.
Luke 21:36 reads:
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
So, having conducted a SWOT and other analysis of our lives and all the happenings around us, it is therefore left for us to engage the heavenly kingdom investment wisdom to help us escape all the determined evil that is happening and will happen in the world.
Now, thinking of engagement, there are two points I want to raise here:
The first is, “Magnitude”
In the world of investment, your investment vehicle determines your interest level. Some interests are simple interests, some are compound interests, and some are multiple interests.
Similarly, in mathematics, some growth are in additions, some are in multiplications, some are in geometrics, while some are in exponentials.
So, in a nut shell, you determine your reward level. You determine your rate of return. You determine your harvest level. You determine the magnitude of your harvest (2 Corinthians 9:6).
The second is:
The duration of your reward.
Now, your harvest can come in one day or it can keep coming for two days or even for a week or for a month or quarterly, or for a year or for a decade or for a century or for a life time or for the next generation(s) or for ever.
In summarizing these two points, I want you to see something here: When you sow a mango seed, you have sown a mango forest but it will take more time for that seed to become a forest. But, if you want to see a forest within a short timeline, you will have to keep sowing more seeds.
Left for me, I am determined to keep investing in God’s kingdom for my returns to increase exponentially and transcend from the time of harvest to becoming a generational blessings that spills over to my unborn generations to come and then that brings us to the phrase, “everlasting covenant”. This is what I aim for – making an everlasting covenant with God through my seeds and my services.
The reliability and validity of kingdom investment is that, as an act of faith, it keeps overcoming the evil that the devil throws at us even to the farthest future.
1 John 5:4 reads:
[4]For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
The word, “overcometh” is in continuous tense. So, your kingdom stewardship speaks for you in the future.
Your seeds helps you to continuously overcome.
You want a better future where you will enjoy rest? Keep sowing sanctified seeds. A better future is your seed.
Some case studies you can read to get a clear picture of what we are learning: Caleb, Phinehas and David (Numbers 14:23-24; 25:11-13; 2 Kings 20:6; 19:34; Isaiah 27:35).
Now, let me clear something here: we already have everlasting life in Christ which consists of all the good things in life you can ever think of from now till eternity. This is your right of sonship in Christ. I don't want to dwell here (John 3:16).
My focus is your responsibility as a citizen of God's kingdom.
You know, if you belong to any nation, you are entitled to the citizen's rights as well as the citizen's responsibilities of that country.
So, you already have eternal life as your citizen's right in Christ Jesus that transcends into the world to come and also, your citizen's responsibilities as in God's kingdom. So, it is your responsibilities which you carry out that earn you your covenant blessings. (Mark 10:30; Hebrews 13:13; Matthew 11:29; Matthew 22:9; Mark 16:15; Matthew 16:24; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19).
Your covenant blessings are in different dimensions:
Long life, lasting health, unending peace, unending prosperity, blessed children, generational wealth, constant access to water, un-interruption of power, good and sustainable environment.
Your seed goes ahead to terminate any long ill-health, generational curses, negative destructive patterns, hereditary features (Isaiah 58:8; 2 Corinthians 9:9; Daniel 4:27).
Now, let's deal with the issue of, “I have giving something and I have not seen any result”
To be truthful and in reflection of what has been obtainable in the medical world, the severity and durational position of a disease determines the quantity of a prescribed medication and the duration it can be administered.
So, like Jesus has rightly summarized: count the cost (Luke 14:28-32).
You just need to keep sowing in patience and anticipation of your desired end (Hebrews 6:12; Galatians 6:9).
Your expectation shall not be cut short.
