Don’t wait for your child’s future to surprise you. Plan for it.

A child can go from “Mummy, I want to be a doctor” today to “Daddy, I want to study engineering” tomorrow. 😂

The dream may change, but one thing remains the same: education will require money.

And the painful part is that school fees don’t wait until you are financially ready.

That’s why planning early matters. You don’t have to have millions sitting somewhere today. You can start with what you have and build towards the future you want for your child.

Because when that admission letter finally comes, the goal should be to celebrate the opportunity—not panic about how to pay for it.

Don’t wait for their future to surprise you. Plan for it today.

Instead of condemning people, let’s try to understand them. Let’s
try to figure out why they do what they do. That’s a lot more
profitable and intriguing than criticism; and it breeds sympathy,
tolerance and kindness. “To know all is to forgive all.”
As Dr. Johnson said: “God himself, sir, does not propose to judge
man until the end of his days.”
Why should you and I?

Good morning 😊

May joy of Monday be with you all.Don't forget to plan for future 😉.

Happy Sunday everybody ❤️

Sunday is for meditation, preparation for a new week and of course, rest. 😌

So go on a cruise, eat at a French restaurant in your area, gather some old folks, sit round the tree and listen to stories. 😂😂

Enjoy yourself, rest well and prepare for the new week, but make sure the tirifive is out of reach. 😂

That tirifive is for your financial freedom, so abeg, don’t touch it because you suddenly remembered another French restaurant. 😂😂

Happy Sunday! ❤️

For 45 years, I worked from Monday to Saturday.

I thought retirement meant resting.

Nobody told me retirement without a plan feels more like punishment than rest.

The first few months were okay because people kept visiting.

Then, the visits stopped.

The salary stopped.

The bills didn't.

Today, I depend on my children for almost everything.

The same children I'm supposed to be blessing are now carrying my responsibilities.

If I had another chance, I would have prepared while I was still earning.

Don't wait till it reaches the "IF STAGE".

"I thought I had time,"

When my daughter was born, I carried her in my arms and whispered, "Daddy will give you the best life."

School fees were still years away, so I didn't think much about them.

I focused on paying rent, buying a better phone, upgrading my car, and taking care of today's needs.

Whenever someone mentioned planning for university, I'd smile and say, "There's still plenty of time."

The years passed faster than I expected.

Before I knew it, she was writing WAEC.

That's when reality hit.

University admission came with tuition, accommodation, textbooks, acceptance fees, and other expenses I hadn't prepared for.

I found myself borrowing money from friends, taking loans, and selling things I had worked so hard to buy.

The painful part wasn't paying the fees.

It was knowing I had almost 18 years to prepare... but I kept saying, "I'll start next year."

If I could go back in time, I wouldn't wait.

I would start with whatever I had, no matter how small.

Because financial planning isn't about how much you start with.

It's about giving your future self fewer reasons to panic.

Don't wait until your child's dream becomes your emergency plan early

If you have children or hope to have them someday, when do you think is the right time to start planning for their education?
