Honorable James Faleke has addressed allegations by music artists Davido.

Davido alleged that Faleke was exerting pressure on INEC to munipulte the outcome of the Osun State Governorship election.

Faleke clarified that his presence in Osun was to support the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji.
Commission operates independently and is not subject to influence by individual.

In response to Davido, who campaigned for his uncle, Governor Adeemola Adeleke, Faleke stated: I have never manipulated an electoral process, and I do not intend to begin.

Focus on your music, while we focus on governance and politics.

Following INEC’s declaration, Governor Adeleke was re-elected with 511,067 votes.
Oyebamiji secured 444,815 votes.
Faleke thereafter congratulated the Governor on his victory and commended Oyebamiji for a credible performance.
