Couple Dies in Buea After Using Charcoal to Warm Up Their Bedroom.

A couple in Bonduma, Buea, has reportedly died after using burning charcoal inside their bedroom to keep warm.

The couple were found dead in their bed, with suspected carbon monoxide poisoning believed to be the cause.

Carbon monoxide is a colourless and odourless gas that can accumulate rapidly in poorly ventilated spaces, potentially causing unconsciousness and death.

Residents are urged never to burn charcoal inside bedrooms or other enclosed spaces, especially while sleeping.

Reports reaching us that a retired police officer, name Retired Inspector Mada, has been gruesomely murdered by his son inside his residence and his death body was thrown into a Well in Gombi, Adamawa State.

The incident has thrown the entire community into shock as the deceased was well known for taking care of his family.
