Pastor Yongi Cho once told me before the Korea war he had a small church in South Korea and the Lord told him to preach about the law of given and receiving from the Lord.
But he became afraid because all his church members were poor farmers after the world war and they did not have any money to give so they brought the fruit they got from their farms every week to the altar.
Now, not long after North Korea invaded South Korea and the only people who farms were not touched during the wars were those who brought their fruits to give to the Lord, they began selling them to those who farms were destroyed and those people later became millionairs, he said they are the richest people in his church.

I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread....

I Have Already Told My Daughters The Category Of Men They Must Not Marry

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries spoke to his members about how he began to support the fact that parents should have influence over their children's marital choices.

He said that while he was growing up, he use to wonder why parents will insist that their children should not marry a particular set of people. He said that he was against it as he felt that people should be allowed to marry anybody the like. "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away and all things have become new." But now that he has experienced growth, he is now in support of it.

He said that he has daughters and he has told them who they cannot marry. He said that if they being that kind of man home, they will quarrel and he will curse him. He did that because he now understands life better. He said that parents cannot allow their children to marry someone who is from a generation of mad and difficult people.

Before they'd say, "it doesn't matter the genotype, have faith and go ahead" but now they will say, " be healed first before you go ahead." He said that they have seen people who enter those kinds of marriages and today they are managing the crisis of their children. When they bring those kinds of couples to him, he said he will spend time praying for them in pain so that God will change their genotype but if the genotype remains the same, then it means that God is sending a message and he will have no choice than to break the relationship.

Finally, he said that due to growth, he now sees life differently which is why you must understand why you have to be very careful what you say and do now because you will still outgrow the stage you are.

Gentle yet Powerful

Here is what I saw. What He revealed to me was a mighty person and a childlike person at the same time. He said to me, "When you hurt a child he will stay away from you; when you love a child, he will be very close to you."

And that is how I began to approach Him. I felt that He was gentle, and yet He is mighty and powerful. Like a child, however, He wants to stay ever so close to those who love Him.

Have you ever seen a little boy or a little girl tugging at Mother's skirt or Father's trousers? Wherever the parents go, the kids hang on and follow them. It's a sure sign that the kids are loved and cared for. That's the way it is with the Holy Spirit. He stays close to those who love Him.

How was it possible that the great evangelist Charles Finney could preach the gospel and people would be "slain under the power," confessing their sins? What was the power that fell when John Wesley stood on the tombstones and opened his mouth to preach? It was the person of the Holy Spirit that accompanied their ministry.

In New York City, Kathryn Kuhlman had just finished preaching at a Full Gospel Business Men's convention. She was taken through the kitchen to an elevator to avoid the crowd. The cooks had no idea a meeting was going on and had never heard of Miss Kuhlman. In their white hats and aprons, the cooks didn't even know she was walking by, and the next thing you know they were flat on the floor.

Why? Kathryn didn't pray for them; she just walked. What happened? When she left the meeting it seemed as though the power of His presence attended her.

Who is the Holy Spirit? He is the power of the Lord.

That power became most evident to me when I began praying in my room—all alone. Day after day, hour after hour, I lifted my hands and said, "Precious Holy Spirit, would You come now and just talk to me?" Where else could I turn? My family was against me. My friends were few. Only Him. Only the Holy Spirit.

There were times when He came in like a wind. Like a fresh breeze on a summer day. The joy of the Lord would fill me until I could contain no more. As we talked I would say, "Holy Spirit, I love You and I long for Your fellowship." And I found out it was mutual. He longed for my fellowship, too.

What about Manifestations?
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. -1 Corinthians 12:7
We must never transgress because of liberty. What I mean is this: it would be wrong for me to take opportunities just because the Spirit of the Lord is upon me. But it would be perfectly justifiable if I clearly allow the Spirit of the Lord to have its liberty with me. However, we are not to behave inappropriately in our liberty, for the flesh is more extravagant than the Spirit.
The Spirit's extravagances are always for edification, strengthening character, and bringing us all more into conformity with the life of Christ. But fleshly extravagances always mar these things and bring the saints into a place of trial for the moment. As the Spirit of the Lord takes further hold of a person, we may get liberty in it, but we are tried through the manifestations of it.
I believe we have come to a liberty of the Spirit that is so pure it will never bring a frown of distraction over another person's mind. I have seen many people who were in the power of the Spirit, but they exhibited a manifestation that was not foundational or even helpful. I have seen people under the mighty power of the Holy Spirit who have waved their hands wildly and moved on the floor and gone on in such a state that no one could say the body was not under the power. However, there was more natural power than spiritual power there, and the natural condition of the person, along with the spiritual condition, caused the manifestation. Though we know the Spirit of the Lord was there, the manifestation was not something that would elevate or please the people or grant them a desire for more of that. It wasn't an edification of the Spirit.
If there are any here who have those manifestations, I want to help you. I don't want to hurt you. It is good that you should have the Spirit upon you; people need to be filled with the Spirit. But you never have a right to say you couldn't help doing this, that, or the other manifestation.
No manifestation of the body ever glorifies the Lord except the tongue. If you seek to be free in the operation of the Spirit through the mouth, then the tongue, which may be under a kind of subconscious control by the Spirit, brings out the glory of the Lord, and that will always bring edification, consolation, and comfort.
No other manifestation will do this. Still, I believe that it is necessary to have all these other manifestations when someone is filled with the Spirit for the first time. When the Spirit is there, the flesh must find some way out, and so, through past experience, we allow all these things at the beginning. But I believe the Holy Spirit brings a sound condition of mind, and the first thing must pass away so that the divine position may remain.
And so there are various manifestations, including kicking and waving, that take place at the incoming of the Holy Spirit, when the flesh and the Spirit are in conflict. One must decrease and die, and the other must increase and multiply. Consequently, when you come to understand this, you are in a place of sound judgment and know that now the Holy Spirit has come to take you on with God.
When the Holy Spirit is allowed full reign over the operation of human life, It always works out of divine wisdom. And when it gets perfect control of a life, the divine source flows through so that all the people may receive edification in the Spirit. If you act foolishly after you have had wisdom taught you, nobody will give you much leeway.
"We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak" (Rom. 15:1 KJV). Some who come to church services know nothing about the power of the Holy Spirit. They get saved and are quickened, and after the Spirit comes upon them, you will see all these manifestations. In love and grace, you should bear with them as newborn babes in the Spirit and rejoice with them because that is only a beginning to an end. The Lord wouldn't want us to be any[1]thing but "strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Eph. 6:10) to help everyone around us.

HOW THE POWER OF GOD PARALYZED A HERDSMAN THAT WAS SENT AS A SPY TO MY COMPOUND – APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN

I was in the office and two elderly men came to see me. I asked them what they wanted. One of them said 'my son somebody recommended you to us'. Then I asked ‘who?' and they mentioned the name, it was a native doctor. He had been handling their case for three years and there was no head way.

Initially I was angry. 'What connection do I have with a native doctor that he should recommend people to me', I thought within me. Then they said he was tired and fed up of handling the case and he told them there was one man of God that can handle such case. He told them to go see Apostle Johnson Suleman. When I heard this I became excited.

Then I said to them, 'let's pray'. Few minutes into prayer God began to talk to me about the case. I began telling them what I was hearing and the men started screaming. One of them started saying in Benin language 'see power… see power'. All this is not a function of wishful thinking. It is a function of presence. Tarry!

A governorship aspirant came to see me one time with lots of cash. He asked me to pray about his intentions to become governor. I prayed and God spoke to me that he will not win. I told him that he shouldn’t waste money contesting. He should use the money for another thing because he will not win.

He left with his money offended and went to see other pastors. They told him that he would win. He called me to tell me what other pastors had said to him. I was surprised because I knew I heard God mistakenly. I said to him 'God told me clearly that you won’t win'. He said the rest pastors that told him he would win are many, I am the only one telling him a different thing therefore many people can’t be wrong at the same time. I said to him before ending the call, 'go contest, when you lose let me know'.

He went ahead and contested. The next time we would see at the airport, I greeted him and he replied me in his local dialect, he said, 'leave me alone, you saw it you could not change it’. He lost the election. I was accurate in hearing God because I tarried. I know His voice because I spend time with Him.

One night the people living with us came out and met someone by the fence in our compound, on the ground paralyzed. He was an herdsman that had entered the compound through the fence at the middle of the night. But the moment he landed in the compound he became paralyzed on the spot.

We bundled him and put him outside the gate and went to church. By the time we got back from church he was still there paralyzed. He was later interviewed in his language and he confessed that he had entered normal, but became paralyzed as soon as he landed in the compound. He said he came to spy so he would signal the rest to come in for an attack. Power crippled him.

Tarry! Stay in God’s presence. Become intimate with Him if you want to see power!

When God wants to expose you, he makes you go through dealings and then put burdens in your spirit. It is only your spirit that is large enough to accommodate God, when you are in that enveloping of that glory while his building you, there are many things you will not know until you are built.

God is not mocked, you must first be built before you are been used by him for his glory.
There are many lives that proves this realities to be true and never failing.

Look at the story of Apostle Arome Osayi for instance….that building. If you ask him, he will tell you
“If you have not walked with God for at least 10yrs don’t boost of your integrity yet” because storms will come, and challenges, they are so to build you to have a level of experience that humanity cannot deny.

I tell you how that i was in lust for years and how my family had died and there was no way to turn to. All these is not to make a name for self but that so you are built into becoming the fullness of the christ and so you can be a representative and an ambassador of his kingdom.

Hmmmm….this is a mystery in the making of men.
I tell you, you must first be built before you are used

The business of kingdom is for sons. If a man is not a son he can’t do kingdom business.
You become a child of God when you receive the life of God but receiving the life of God does not make you a son.

Sonship is not the possession of the life of God (it’s a part of it).
Sonship is actually the bearing of the image of the Father.
Sons are those that have the image of the Father not those that have the life of God.
Luke 3:38, Gen 1:26, Heb 1:1-3, Rom. 8:29

It’s beautiful to have the life of God but you must journey into sonship in order to possess things in the kingdom and to be handed things that are of God.
The reason we’re weak is because they taught us eternal life and they didn’t teach us how to grow in it until we take upon ourselves the image of God.
