Grassroots Mobilisation in Kumbotso LGA, Kano State

The spirit of grassroots mobilisation continues to grow stronger across Kano State, as NDC Kwankwasiyya members in Danmaliki Ward, Kumbotso Local Government Area, held a productive meeting on Friday at Medile Community.

The meeting provided an opportunity for members, leaders, and supporters to strengthen their bonds, discuss the way forward, and reaffirm their shared commitment to building a stronger political movement rooted in unity, inclusion, and grassroots participation.

From the communities to the wards and across the local government, the message remains clear: the people are organised, engaged, and ready to work together for a better Nigeria.

Strengthening Unity for Victory ✌️

Rt. Hon. Victor O. Ochei, Esq., FNSE, was pleased to have receive the leadership of the OK2027movement , Delta State Chapter, on a courtesy and solidarity visit.

Their engagement brought together a high-powered delegation of foundational members of the movement and key stakeholders of the NDC, providing an opportunity for meaningful dialogue on the future of the party and the task ahead.

Their discussions centred on unity, reconciliation and collective purpose. He emphasised the importance of putting political grievances behind us, reconciling our differences and channelling our collective energy towards the greater objective before us.

The delegation reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the NDC and expressed its determination to work towards an NDC 5/5 victory in the 2027 Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.

Strengthening Religious Harmony and National Unity in Katsina State

In Katsina State, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement Worldwide, continued the Movement’s advocacy and engagement across North-West Nigeria, with a strong focus on dialogue, unity and peaceful coexistence.

During the visit, the delegation was warmly received by Sheikh Murtala Ibrahim Imam Malik, the Collegiate Coordinator of the Obidient Movement in Katsina State, alongside his executives and other stakeholders.

The team also paid a courtesy visit to the Anglican Church in Katsina, where they engaged with the Rt. Revd. (Dr.) Bishop Yohanna Nuhu. They further met with representatives of the Catholic Diocese, including Revd. Fr. Bakosi, who represented the Catholic Bishop of Katsina State, Rt. Revd. Gerald Musa.

These engagements formed part of the Movement’s ongoing religious-harmony consultations, aimed at strengthening mutual understanding, promoting peaceful coexistence across religious and ethnic lines, and advancing the vision of a united and prosperous Nigeria.

Dr. Zayyana Shehu (Sani Store), NDC aspirant in Katsina State, also joined the engagements, reinforcing the growing synergy and collective commitment toward building a stronger political movement ahead of the 2027 elections.

PETER OBI VISITS OTUKPO, BENUE STATE, TO COMMISERATE WITH BEREAVED FAMILIES

The Presidential Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi, today visited Otukpo Nobi and the people of Otukpo Local Government Area, Benue State, to extend his heartfelt condolences to families and communities affected by the recent tragic loss of lives.

The visit was a demonstration of solidarity and compassion towards those mourning, as Mr. Obi stood with the bereaved families and the people of Otukpo during this difficult period.

In moments of grief and uncertainty, leadership goes beyond words. It is about being present, listening to the people, sharing in their pain, and reassuring them that their lives, safety and wellbeing matter.
