A neighbour suddenly stops coming outside.
Some people assume, "She's proud."
Others wonder, "Did we do something wrong?"
But very few people knock on the door.
Sometimes people don't need judgment.
They need support 🤝
In social welfare, support isn't only about solving a problem. It's also about protecting a person's dignity.
Sometimes that means, listening before offering advice.
Sometimes it means asking, "How can I support you?" instead of deciding what they need, and sometimes, it simply means treating people with the same respect you'd want for yourself.
