Look at the Winlos, for instance. Did you watch that movie? What is it called? Prophet Suddenly. Did you see how that movie went? From beginning to the end, there was a message it was trying to communicate.
The goal for anyone who says that they are trying to feed the body of Christ must not be entertainment; it must be edification.
The Christian needs to realise that every platform is not entertainment. It’s not to divert people’s attention or give them an alternative to what they would have had in the world. That’s not the goal of Christian service or your gifting.
This is why a Christian will think it is normal to go and contest in Big Brother Nigeria house and say, “We’ll carry the fire of the Lord to Big Brother Nigeria.”
Oga, your street has not felt your fire. Your street, even your family, they still look at you and say, “You know God,” but you want to carry fire to Big Brother Nigeria.
Your campus that you graduated from, even the gate does not know you came to that school. The gate cannot testify that you were a student there. You want to carry the fire to Big Brother Nigeria.
Why does it look as if we are the ones starved of inspiration, starved of ideas?
If you are called to drama, music, sound, or any of these creative arts, you cannot call yourself an entertainer. A Christian is supposed to be a minister.
There are things that cannot be fitting for saints. A saint cannot be an entertainer; he must be a minister.
And I’m not against making church exciting, but when we are putting meetings together to stimulate people’s flesh, that man is a wicked man.
