IF JESUS WAS TRULY GOD AS MANY CHRISTIANS CLAIM, HE WOULDN’T HAVE DIED
— Shaliach SomtoChukwu
A true God cannot die.
The Creator of heaven and earth is eternal, immortal, and beyond weakness. The Most High does not sleep, faint, bleed, or perish like mortal men.
The Scriptures repeatedly teach that God is everlasting and cannot be overcome by death. Yet Jesus suffered hunger, pain, temptation, and finally death on the cross. If he died, then by definition he was not the Almighty Himself.
Many people say, “Jesus died for the sins of the world,” but this raises a serious question:
How can the eternal God die?
And if God died, who was governing the universe during those hours?
The Torah teaches absolute oneness of God. The Almighty is not a man. He is supreme over creation and cannot be destroyed by His own creation.
Jesus was a messenger sent to Israel, a teacher, and a servant of God — but not God Himself. Even Jesus prayed to God, called upon God, and said, “The Father is greater than I.” A God who prays cannot be the One being prayed to.
This generation must return to truth instead of inherited traditions. Faith should be built on Scripture, logic, and understanding — not emotion.
The Most High alone is God forever.
No human being can replace Him, equal Him, or become Him.
