This 12-part series is all about honouring the people behind the movement. The unseen hands, the quiet sacrifices and the layered stories that shaped the Ile-Ife Heritage Marathon and its offshoot, the Ile-Ife Run Club.

No vision survives without a builder.
Today, I celebrate Paul Amusan , the torchbearer whose discipline, structure, and unwavering commitment turned a simple idea into a lasting institution.
He is one of the key reasons the Ile-Ife Run Club stands on such a solid foundation today.
