Kwara State was thrown into shock after security operatives raided the palace of the King of Alabe. Over ₦90 million in cash was recovered from the king’s residence, while ₦30 million was traced to his wife’s bank account. Authorities say the funds are linked to kidnapping and banditry plaguing the area. The royal couple is in custody for further investigation.

In a related development, the King of Babanla and his queens were also arrested for alleged involvement in the same criminal network.

Farmers in Diko are protesting the forceful takeover of 500 hectares of their farmland by Farmer Governor Umaru Bago. The land is being converted to industrial solar farms and allocated to an Abuja Steel Company.

BREAKING: Lagos State Commissioner of Police has revealed that the MD of First Bank, Oluwasegun Alebiosu, received an envelope containing two live bullets at his residence.

The package was allegedly delivered by a dispatch rider and received by security personnel at Alebiosu’s residence before it was handed over to him because it was addressed directly to him and marked confidential.

Upon opening the parcel, the First Bank chief reportedly discovered two live bullets concealed in an envelope. The package contained no accompanying letter, message, or information that could reveal the identity of the sender.
