Our Highest Need.
How can you need what you already have? How can YHVH be your highest need when you already have Him. Why not just rather focus on what you don't have ?
Sectionalizing our lives is what produces such thoughts. If we considered our lives as one unit that centripetally and centrifugally gives and draws from the source and center of all "gravity" - Yahusha - then maybe we will search for His heartbeat more each day.
When a woman loses interest or is offended in her man, she dresses as she wants not minding his opinion. She cares less. She might be the apple of his eye or his heartbeat, but who cares? The Lord isn't petty. However, He wants in on what we wear, eat, speak, work, chat, treat people, joke, and so on, and how we do these things.
Knowing this, while busy, we have our consciousness on His opinion of us. .
This makes us buckle up also. For how can we treat people wrong, give substandard outputs at work, disregard our own selves, and yet claim to have the Holy One inside us?
Back to the questions in the first paragraph. We can need what we have.
A times, as men, we chase a lady hard only to neglect her after we have her. This is how we are towards the Lord. We have Him now, so it's time to have other things. Nah! He is our highest need, our "other things", our everything.
Just in case you are getting slack with seeking Elohims face and heart, consider this scripture
Matthew 13:12 KJV
[12] For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
You lose what you have once you exercise yourself less. Meanwhile, you strengthen what you have when you exercise yourself more in it.
While it's true that he that must seek Hayah's perfect will, he must be ready to lose his own.
This post isn't asking anyone to neglect his or her body. That in itself is false doctrine. It's saying that Christ can be the very conscious and subconscious center of all that we do.
We pray, we meditate, we practice stillness, we preach Yahusha, and so on. But praying without season while going about your engagement can simply be summed up as "stay the day contemplating on Me."
There is a difference between knowing about the spiritual and being or walking in the spirit. The latter should be the goal.
This means that though troubles come, your joy will he untouched.
We are to live from inside out.
The caveat is to trust in Him with all your heart. For we must all come to such a point as we advance in Him. Where the cerebral power will disappoint on not a few occasions. This is where spirit is quickened fast. Then, after this stage. All things fuse into one - mental, emotional, economic, spiritual, social, and all other abilities.
This is prone to correction.
