YOU CAN'T LIBERATE A SLAVE WHO HAS FOUND CONFORT IN CAPTIVITY
This is the major problem of our people in Ibeju-lekki.
Despite the obvious low performance of some representatives, some people are still behind them supporting the failure in them, defending their atrocities, attacking those trying to call them out despite the huge resources they are collecting every month and every year.
Imagine a local govt Chairman with large population building and erecting projects across the local govt when another local govt Chairman with less communities and less population find it difficult to perform and some people don't see it as failure and act of inconsistent and incompetent.
Likewise Federal Constituency where a representative with large population and Communities building projects everywhere by utilizing their Federal Constituency allowance and connection yet some feel comfortable with low performance despite the low size of their Constituency to compare to conteporaries.
Our people feel comfortable believing they're doing it right because of the low exposure for them.
No doubt in the normal saying of *Traveling is part of Education and a way to get more exposure*.
Let's stand tall and call these people to order, let's stop pretending as things are getting worse, as the world is looking unto us as the face of Lagos and the heart of Country.
Let's wake from our slumber and cut off the slavery shain in us. Let's break the sharkle.
