So, we see many Islamic believers in the comment section of every religious post trying very hard to defend the Sharia law. Claiming that the sharia law does not affect Christians living among them.
That, the Sharia law, Sharia Court, and the Hisbah police are made for the Muslims and the Muslims alone.
I made extensive findings about the 2 major religion [Christianity and Islam] in Nigeria, and here are some untold truth about them.
In Kano state, for example, the sales of beer Is highly prohibited, knowing fully well that Kano state, being a Nigerian state, is populated by both the Muslims and non Muslims alike
Let's also consider the case of Deborah Yakubu, who was lynched for blasphemy - according to the quaran.[ The perpetrators acted in line with the quaran.] Knowing fully Well, That Deborah Yakubu Is not a Muslim.
What about the case of the Invigilator that was also lynched?
According to them, she aggressively took a bag from a student who came late to the examination hall and unconsciously threw it to one end of the classroom without being aware that there's a quaran inside the bag.
If I am not wrong; the invigilator wasn't a Muslim believer, but she suffered what she's innocent of.
Now, let's delve into the Christian practices.
They aren't known for killing people who go against their religious practices, whether you are of the Christian faith or not. The most you'll find is suspension of such person from performing his religious duties. And it's done within the church premise.
They don't stone anybody to death.
In the case of suspension, you are forgiving after completing the task and welcome back into the Christian family.
So, if you are being honest, you should be able to tell the one that contradicts the Constitution.
Enacting Sharia law here in Nigeria is running a country with a dual constitution. And it can not thrive. There would always be division among it citizens.
If Nigeria truly wants to enjoy peace, then it must do away with every practice, precept, and tenets that go against the Nigeria Constitution.
Nigeria is not a multi religious country. Hence, every religion should be allowed to practice without the interference of the other, and this must be done within the laws of the land.- Nigeria 🇳🇬.
And if one religious practice contradicts the Constitution, then it's best that we all call for its cancellation so we can have a thriving society.
