When I married my husband, Daniel, I thought I knew everything about him. He was caring, hardworking, and always made me feel loved. Life was not perfect, but we were happy.
One Saturday afternoon, Daniel told me his childhood friend, Michael, was coming to stay with us for a few weeks because he had just moved back to the city and needed time to settle down.
I welcomed Michael warmly. He was polite, respectful, and always willing to help around the house. Soon, he became like family.
