you started your campaign with an aggressive tactic shouting “Emi l’okan” to every tom, dick and harry which ended with a forceful entry because in truth, we never did want you. Not everyone knew why, but somewhere, deep down you were never our best choice. Fast forward to a few years later the country is already in a worse position than it was before your swear-in. We’ve lost our positioning both economically, nationally and internationally. Under your leadership, Nigeria has lost its purchasing power, confidence in Naira, it has lost economic stability, lost faith in public protection, lost hope for immediate improvement, we’ve lost peace of mind, what’s worse is we’ve now lost economic security!

The confidence to travel certain roads without fear, the certainty that children will return safely from school. The ability of rural communities to farm without looking over their shoulders. The belief that a phone call from an unknown number is just a phone call and not terrible news. The expectation that government protection will ever arrive before the tragedy instead of after it. Every day Nigerians are asked to endure more. More hunger. More insecurity. More uncertainty. More sacrifice as people continue to bury their loved ones and counting the cost of survival.

One thing is clear, you is not the man for the job. You are a cancer that needs to be cut off completely from the Nigerian system if hope is ever expected to be restored to this nation. Since your tenure we have become a country where horror arrives so frequently that people scroll past it on their lunch breaks. A country where tragedy competes for attention with entertainment. A country where parents pray their children return home every evening because even that is no longer guaranteed. Nigeria is bleeding and you are the cause— our weakest link.

They say the strength of a democratic argument comes from evidence and persuasion but I say If a government cannot adequately protect lives and improve living conditions, voters have every right to choose different leadership; and I with every fiber of my being vote you out! THE MIDLIFE CRISIS — Official Narrative

There comes a point in a man’s life where everything stops feeling like a dream…
and starts feeling like a responsibility.

Not the kind you post about.
Not the kind people applaud.

The kind that keeps you awake at 6 in the morning…
still chasing something you cannot fully explain.

⸻

This project was not made from comfort.

It was made in isolation.
In long nights with no witnesses.
In moments where survival felt louder than purpose.

Where “grind” was no longer a trend —
but a condition.

⸻

Midlife Crisis is not about age.
It is about awareness.

It is what happens when you start to see clearly:

* Who showed up for you
* Who disappeared
* What broke you
* And what refused to let you break

⸻

This is a story told in phases.

Not perfectly. Not cleanly.
But honestly.

You will hear:

* The defiance of someone who is done explaining himself
* The weight of a childhood that demanded too much too early
* The escapes we create just to stay sane
* The decision to become something new
* The understanding that comes from pain, not theory
* The confidence that grows quietly, without permission
* And the realization that the journey does not end… it evolves

⸻

There are no heroes here.

Only a man learning —
how to carry pressure without folding
how to provide without losing himself
how to dream without disconnecting from reality

⸻

This is for anyone who has ever had to become strong
before they had the chance to be soft.

For anyone who has ever looked around
and realized there is no backup plan —
only forward.

⸻

This is not a cry for help.
This is not a celebration either.

It is a documentation.

Of growth.
Of loss.
Of hunger.
Of becoming.

⸻

Because sometimes…
what looks like a crisis from the outside
is actually a transformation in progress.

⸻

This is Midlife Crisis.
A curated experience by Big M.

At its core, Midlife Crisis feels less like a breakdown and more like a reckoning.

It’s about standing at a point where everything you thought you understood—your path, your purpose, your identity—starts to feel uncertain… and instead of running from that tension, you sit in it.

A little introspection:

If this phase taught me anything, it’s that direction matters more than speed. Knowing what to do is one level…
but choosing it in a way that removes doubt—that’s something else entirely.

So what’s the delay…

You spend your whole life preparing for something you can’t even see yet.
Trusting the process… even when the pressure starts to feel like it’s breaking you.

You say the prayer.
You hold on to faith.

You grow… slowly, painfully… in ways nobody applauds.
You carry the weight. You pay the price.

You try to heal —
through moments, through laughter, through family…
holding on to what still feels real.

Time keeps moving. Faster than you expect.
And somewhere in between… you start asking yourself who you even are.

You know where you’re meant to get to.
You can feel it.

So why is it taking so long…

What’s the delay?
