Behind every great piece of creativity is time.

But on social media, time alone isn’t enough.

You can spend hours creating something beautiful and still get little or nothing from it.
That’s where strategy comes in.

As a content strategist, I don’t just look at whether a post is beautiful. I look at the idea, the message, the presentation, the audience and what that content is meant to achieve.

Why?

Because content should not just fill your page.
It should work for you.

That’s the difference between simply creating content and creating with purpose.

September is here, and honestly, I’m just

grateful.

Grateful that we made it this far. Grateful for the things that worked, the things that didn’t, and even the things we’re still waiting to see happen.

A new month means we get another chance to try again, do better, and make something out of what we’ve been given.

So whatever you’re trusting God for, whatever you’re working on, and whatever you started that hasn’t quite come together yet don’t give up on it.

We’re still here, and that alone is something to be grateful for.

I went for a special event, and today was hectic and mind-blowing at the same time.

Here’s to greater fashion inspirations, because anywhere I see fashion, count me in abeg.

For the longest time, I’ve just been watching this social media thing…

And honestly, I’ve realised something.

Everybody is figuring it out as they go.

People will show you the finished content, the beautiful pictures, the viral post, the results…

But the part nobody really shows you is the

thinking that happened before all of that.

Like, why did you create this?

Why this idea?

Why this hook?

Why this particular visual?

And how did you even turn that small idea into something people wanted to see?

That’s the part I’m interested in.

Because I’m not trying to be that person that comes online every day shouting, “You need to post! You need to be consistent!”

Please, we know.

I want to show you what I’m actually creating and why I created it that way.

How I use AI.

How I come up with ideas.

How I turn simple things into content.

How I think about content when I’m creating for myself or a brand.

Because sometimes, the problem isn't that you don't have an AI tool.

You just don't know what to do with the damn thing.

And that’s what I’m figuring out here.

No perfect blueprint.

No pretending I know everything.

Just me creating, testing, learning and bringing you along.

Before you sleep tonight, ask yourself this question:

“If I continue doing exactly what I’m doing now, where will it take me?”

Not where you hope to be.

Not where you say you want to be.

Where will your current choices take you?
Because sometimes we are so focused on wanting a different life that we don't stop to look at the habits creating the one we have.

The content you're consuming.

The people you're listening to.

The things you're postponing.

The work you're avoiding.

The ideas you keep saying “I'll start tomorrow” to.

Even the way you spend those little hours nobody sees.

They are all taking you somewhere.

And honestly, “I'm still figuring things out” is not a bad place to be.

But don't use it as an excuse to stay in the same place forever.

You don't have to change your entire life tonight.

Maybe just be honest with yourself about one

thing you need to start doing differently.

Then tomorrow, do that one thing.

Small steps still count.

Before you sleep tonight, ask yourself again:

“Am I actually moving towards the person I want to become, or am I just hoping I'll get there someday?”

used to think the hardest part of content creation was knowing what to post.

Now I’m realizing that’s actually not the hard part.

The hard part is having something worth saying.

Because you can have 30 content ideas sitting in your Notes app and still open Facebook and
think:

“Okay… but what am I actually trying to say?”

And I think that's where a lot of us get stuck.

We see someone post something that did well, so we want to recreate it.

Someone says, “You need to show your face more.”

We show our face.

Someone says, “Educational content is the way to go.”

We start teaching.

Someone says, “Tell stories.”

Now we're looking for a story to tell.

And somehow, after doing all of that, our page

still doesn't feel like us.

I’m learning that creating good content isn't just about finding something to post.

It's about knowing:

What do I actually want to be known for?

Who am I trying to help?

And what can I say that will make someone stop and think, “Hmm… I never looked at it that way.”

That's the kind of content I want to create.
Not content for the sake of filling a content calendar.

Not copying whatever is trending this week.

To create content with a reason behind it.

And yes, I'm still learning too.

But I think that's the beautiful part.

We're building this together.

ONE POST CAN GET YOU THIS 👇

Sometimes I see people stressing themselves because they haven't posted today.

So they quickly put something up just to keep the page active.

I get it. I've done it too.

But imagine spending all that time creating content and the only thing it does is… sit on your page.

Because honestly, one good post can introduce you to someone who has never heard of you before.

It can make someone check your page.

It can make someone understand what you do.

It can make a potential client stop and think, “I actually need this person.”

And that's why I'm becoming more intentional about the content I create.

I don't want to just make things that look good.
I want my content to work for me.

I want someone to see a post and understand something, feel something, remember me, or better still… want to work with me.

Because what's the point of constantly posting if your content isn't taking you anywhere?

One good post can do a lot. You just have to give it something to do. 🩵
