Yummy donut

Here's a simple Nigerian donut recipe:

Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Flavorings like vanilla or nutmeg (optional)

Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and vegetable oil.
3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth dough forms.
4. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until elastic.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
6. Preheat oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F (180°C).
7. Punch down the dough and cut into desired donut shapes.
8. Fry donuts for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
9. Drain excess oil and dust with powdered sugar or your preferred toppings.

Nigerian donuts are often topped with:

- Granulated sugar
- Cinnamon sugar
- Chocolate glaze
- Coconut flakes
- Chopped nuts
