One of my significant life concerns borders around how and why Africans gave up all they had to imbibe democracy in the worst form.

Nnamdi Azikiwe’s team that went to America ditched the original team effort involving Chief Obafemi Awolowo. Nigeria could easily be positioned in a way that provides respite for all central regions, as we see in the UK. The original copy would have been from the Magna Carta.
The UK prime minister woke up this morning, received quarterly review numbers, saw some positive numbers and took a risk to call for a General Election in less than two months. But, in our case in Nigeria, you can't easily change bad leaders.
Sunak’s gamble could quickly go the way the 2010 election went. When Gordon Brown felt he was behind the numbers, he put himself forward for the election. I remember vividly how I postulated that the best candidate at the time was the combination of Ed Miliband and Chuka Umunna. Labour lost disgracefully.
This July 4th general election in the UK could be as consequential as 2010. I see a change in goverment. Unless Sunak could invoke some esoteric energy from India on the UK populace. And I mean that with all seriousness. The guy is not joking and has some spiritual power, like Indaboski, under his belt.
I will vote for labour because I know by a pattern that Healthcare ( NHS ), the Economy, the Housing Market, and immigration policy generally get better under .
I want to read and 's take on the impromptu call for General Elections. But I have predicted this with before now.
I am of the opinion that people are tired of the austerity measures by the Conservatives. And i continue to suggest that Nigeria review her system of government as stipulated in my academic paper below :
