There are many ways to love one’s neighbor, but intercessory prayer; praying on behalf of other people, has got to be one of the most powerful.

Prayer is the most potent force known to humanity. Because we have been made partakers in Jesus' victory over sin and death (1 John 4:4), we have the authority as sons and daughters of God to pray for others, pushing back the darkness of sin and oppression. In prayer, we have a weapon that has divine power to destroy strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

That kind of weaponry the power of prayer is something God invites us to use as we seek not only personal transformation but the transformation of the world as well. An intercessor is one who takes up a "burden" that goes far beyond his or her own needs and intentions.

Our nation cries out for divine intervention. Despite our efforts, challenges persist. Yet, in desperation, we're reminded of prayer's power – a force that can shift destiny. As young believers, we're called to partner with God through intercession, a sacred duty that's both privilege and necessity.

We're calling upon fellowships, churches, and student groups across Lagos State and Nigeria to join hands in fervent prayer through the _Lagos Intercessors Night_. United, our voices can pierce the heavens and invite God's intervention.

Let's lay aside differences and unite, seeking God's face and righteousness. Together, we can bring about a revival reshaping our nation's future.

INTERCEDE FOR LAGOS DAY (3)
PRAY FOR IKEJA

Ikeja is experiencing spiritual dryness, with many residents struggling to find meaning and purpose in their lives. Additionally, moral decay is on the rise, with issues such as corruption, crime, and social injustice becoming increasingly prevalent.

We pray for:

1. *Spiritual Revival*: Lord, we pray for a spiritual revival in Ikeja. Awaken the hearts of residents to seek You, and quench their spiritual thirst with Your living water. Help them to prioritize their spiritual well-being and cultivate a deeper relationship with You. (Psalm 85:6, Revelation 22:17)
2. *Moral Renewal*: Lord, we pray for a moral renewal in Ikeja. Cleanse the city of moral decay, and raise up a generation of residents who will stand for righteousness and justice. Help them to live with integrity, honesty, and compassion, reflecting Your character in their daily lives. (Proverbs 10:9, Matthew 5:13-16)
We pray that IKEJA become a city that honors God and reflect His love and righteousness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

PRAY FOR IFAKO-IJAIYE

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up Ifako-Ijaiye in prayer, asking for Your love, mercy, and grace to bring restoration, revival, and transformation.

We pray for:

Marital restoration: Heal broken-hearted couples, reconcile estranged relationships, and bring peace, love, and harmony to homes. (Malachi 2:14-16, Matthew 19:4-6)

Evangelism and discipleship: Raise up evangelists and witnesses to proclaim Your Gospel, and establish strong discipleship programs. (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, 2 Timothy 2:2)

May Your presence be felt, and Your love be shared among all people.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
