EMPOWERING AKWA IBOM YOUTHS THROUGH VOCATIONAL TRAINING: A call to action, says IAF Ejigbo Chapter Chairman, Comrade Joe Udoh

The Indigenous Akwa Ibom Forum in Lagos ( l. A. F ) is dedicated to empowering youths of Akwa Ibom origin through free vocational training and skills acquisition programs. Our mission is to equip these young individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in various industries, thereby reducing unemployment and poverty in our communities/ Akwa ibom at large.

VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAMS:
We offer training in the following areas.
- *Fashion Design*: Learn the art of designing and creating garments
- *Coding & Infotech*: Acquire skills in software development and IT
- *Welding & Fabrication*: Master welding and metalwork techniques
- *Catering*: Develop culinary skills for food preparation and presentation
- *Event Planning & Management*: Learn to plan and execute events
- *Computer Studies*: Gain proficiency in computer applications
- *Electrical Installations*: Learn electrical installation and maintenance
- *Hair Dressing*: Acquire skills in hairstyling and beauty care
- *Auto Engineering*: Develop skills in vehicle maintenance and repair
- *Plumbing*: Master plumbing techniques and pipe installation
