How do you handle lies among children? 🤔
It’s easy to get upset when a child lies but before reacting, pause and ask why did they feel the need to lie?

Sometimes, children lie because they are afraid of punishment.

Sometimes, they just want to avoid trouble.
Other times, it could be imagination, peer influence, or even a desire to be accepted.

So how do we handle it?
✨ Stay calm If you react with anger, you may only teach them to lie better next time.

✨ Make truth feel safe Let them know they won’t lose your love for telling the truth.

✨ Teach, don’t just punish: Help them understand why honesty matters.

✨ Lead by example: Children learn more from what we do than what we say.

✨ Praise honesty: Even when they admit something wrong, acknowledge their courage.
Remember a child who feels safe will choose truth over lies.

Let’s raise children who are not just afraid of punishment, but who value honesty from the heart. ❤️

Apparently, one thing many people overlook is the power of inviting those who view your content but haven’t followed you yet.
