I Brought My Sister To My Home, Not Knowing She Came to Destroy My Marriage

Chinwe stood by the window, watching the busy street below. The aroma of jollof rice filled the house, and she smiled, satisfied that everything was in order. Tonight was special. Her younger sister, Ngozi, was coming to stay with them.
She turned to her husband, Daniel, who was seated on the couch, focused on his phone. "Daniel, are you sure you’re okay with Ngozi staying here for a while? I know she can be a little talkative, but—"
Daniel sighed and set his phone aside. "Chinwe, how many times will you ask me that? She's your sister. Of course, she’s welcome here."
Chinwe beamed. "Thank you, my love. She’s been struggling since she graduated. She just needs a little support until she finds her footing."
Just then, the doorbell rang. Chinwe rushed to open it, and there stood Ngozi, her suitcase beside her. "Big Sis!" Ngozi cried, embracing her tightly.
Chinwe laughed. "Welcome, my dear. Come in, come in!"
Ngozi stepped inside, her eyes scanning the living room. "Wow, your house is so beautiful! Everything looks expensive. Ah, Sister, you're really enjoying o!"
Daniel chuckled. "You know your sister, she has good taste."
Ngozi turned to him. "Brother Daniel, good evening! Thank you so much for letting me stay here."
Daniel smiled. "No problem, Ngozi. Just make yourself at home."
Chinwe led Ngozi to the guest room, where fresh sheets and a neatly folded towel awaited her. "This is your room, feel free to make yourself comfortable."
Ngozi touched the bed and grinned. "Chai! This bed is softer than my dreams. Sister, you have really made it."
Chinwe laughed. "It's just a bed, Ngozi. Now freshen up, dinner will be ready soon."
As the days passed, Ngozi settled in well. She was helpful around the house, washing dishes, sweeping the floors, and sometimes even preparing meals before Chinwe got home from work.
