I have been contemplating this issue for quite some time: WHY DO MEN FREQUENTLY DISREGARD THEIR HEALTH?

A recent incident involving a patient rushed in after a road traffic accident, who sustained a deep head laceration leading to a skull fracture and a fractured wrist, illustrates this concern. Following treatment, the patient demanded to be discharge to attend to his business, which is alarming, particularly considering his recent near-death experience. Many men become so engrossed in providing for their families that they neglect their own well-being, forgetting that their life is essential. While responsibilities can be overwhelming, prioritizing one's health is crucial. Dear men, please make time for medical check-ups and take care of your health; your families, wives, and children need you to be fine.

PS: our nursing team counseled the patient, and he stayed.

HIV is deadly but not easily transmitted. You can't get it by mere kissing unless there is a cut , you can't get it through hugging either

But my brothers and sisters, hepatitis can be gotten through kissing, via sweat; meaning you can get it by hugging an infected person who is sweating

With this few point of mine, I hope you can see reasons with me

ACTING ALL GOOFY TODAY 🤪😋🤣 I've started working in the ICU, and the experience has been awesome. During nursing school, I avoided the ICU (intensive care unit) because I felt I wasn't cut out for the kind of nursing care provided there; I felt I wasn't careful enough to offer quality care to ICU patients due to their condition. Today, I'm enjoying the ICU; it's a great opportunity for growth in my nursing career.
