So, I finally watched “Love in Every Word” after all the hype, and I must say, I love it! ❤️

First off, this movie reminded me of “The Man Called Ofe” (a true-life story I once shared in a three-part series). Watching it took me down memory lane, and I couldn’t help but smile.

Affection is soooo beautiful. There’s nothing as calming as true love, especially when two intentional people recognize their connection and build on it despite minor imperfections.

Take Odogwu, for example. His accent might not be the smoothest, but his energy, confidence, and romantic authority make up for it.

The way he blended with her friends, introduced himself as her husband (such boldness!), and set clear boundaries while still respecting his woman? A total win.

And let’s be real, what sane woman wouldn’t melt for a man who is emotionally intelligent, self-aware, and in control of himself?

I also loved how Odogwu, despite already feeling strongly for Babe, didn’t rush things. He respected their connection, took his time to understand her story firsthand, and reassured her instead of pressuring her.

That’s what emotional maturity looks like! No unnecessary tantrums, no toxic drama, just two grown individuals navigating love naturally.
I love it! It’s a 10 for me!

So there is this colleague of mine who is fond of raising his voice whenever he calls me on the phone for something.

That usually irritates me as his calls often get me tensed.

I don't like one raising their voice at me, especially if it's unnecessary.

It gets me very uncomfortable.'

I could not talk about it because of the thought process of his culture. I do not know about his personality though but I would not want anyone misunderstanding or judging me over something I consider very easy to understand.

The Solution, I gave it?

Whenever he calls with a raised voice, I simply hang up the phone. At times, I do not answer.

He soon got the message and adjusted, he no longer raises his voice on the phone when he calls me.

I felt proud of the approach I used but, would you have handled it differently if you were in my shoes?

I would like to know your thoughts on this, please.
