"I'm a man in my 40s, but I was shedding tears every night. Doctors told me my bones were 20 years older than my actual age.
​The illness brought with it severe back discomfort, a slight headache

This picture is of me being admitted to the hospital. I went for an MRI, & the specialists gave me the sad news. My bones being two decades older means that internally, I was over 60, even though I'm only in my 40s. They further explained that the discs in my spinal cord had shifted cuz of my weakened bone structure. With all these difficult things piling up at once, I would often put my head in my hands & weep severely

​They told me I had overstressed my body, along with other serious findings. I was also told that nothing could be done to reverse the situation & was advised to start taking medication meant for someone in their sixties or older. I went back home after some treatments & intensive prayers, believing that I was completely healed. But when I returned to the specialists and was tested again, the results were the same. Nothing had changed. "Oh my God, is this the end?" I wondered. "Why me?" 😭😭

​I went back home that day disappointed, i cried & pleaded with God to grant me healing mercies. A week later, I went back for another test. My doctor was initially hesitant to carry it out, but I pleaded & persuaded him until he agreed. And guess what?
​Now, I am truly grateful to God for the gift of healing! I believe the plan of any opposing force was that I would become immobile or seriously disabled, but God completely turned it around.

​He is a merciful God. Please, help me thank Him for His amazing healing mercies upon my life! 🙏"

Armed Robbers Involved In The Robbery That Led To The Death of Arise News Staff, Somtochukwu Maduagwu Arrested

According to the Police, the suspects are:
1. Shamsudeen Hassan ‘m’ from Malumfashi LGA Katsina state
2. Hassan Isah ‘m’, 22 years from Zaria kaduna State
3. Abubakar Alkamu a.k.a. abba ‘m’, 27 years from Musawa LGA katsina state
4. Sani Sirajo a.k.a. dan borume ‘m’ 20 years from Malumfashi LGA katsina state
5. Mashkur Jamilu a.k.a. abba ‘m’ 28 years from Igabi LGA kaduna state
6. Suleiman Badamasi a.k.a. dan-sule ‘m’ 21 years from Malumfashi LGA katsina state
7. Abdul Salam saleh a.k.a. na-durudu ‘m’ from katsina lga katsina State
8. Zaharadeen Muhammad a.k.a. gwaska ‘m’ 23 years from chikun lga kaduna state
9. Musa adamu a.k.a. musa hassan ‘m’ 30 years from malumfashi lga katsina state
10. Sumayya Mohammed a.k.a. baby ‘m’ 27 years from Sammaka LGA, Kaduna state
11. Isah Abdulrahman a.k.a. abbati ‘m’, 25 years from Zaria LGA, Kaduna state
12. Musa Umar a.k.a. small ‘m’ 31 years from Maiduguri LGA Borno state.

Shortly after the robbery incident, four (4) of the suspects shamsudeen hassan, alkamu, sirajo and one other person were apprehended through the tracking of phones stollen from the apartment during the robbery.

During interrogation, Shamsudeen Hassan confessed that he shot the security guard when he attempted to prevent them from gaining access to the apartment. Sani Sirajo confessed to have tried to hold Somtochukwu Christella Maduagwu from falling off the three-storey building but was overwhelmed by her weight. Shamsudeen further confessed that he drove the white honda CR-V jeep out of the apartment after the operation. The four suspects admitted that they each received ₦200,000 from the proceeds of the crime.

Recovered exhibits include:
One (1) fabricated ak-47 rifle
Thirty-six (36) rounds of 9mm live ammunition
One (1) locally made pistol
One (1) pump-action gun
Two (2) live cartridges
Four (4) mobile phones of the victims
Two (2) sharp knives
One (1) cutlass
Nine (9) torchlights used during the operation

In continuation of investigations, yesterday, 08/10/2025, acting on a tip-off and actionable digital intelligence also provided by us, the remaining members of the gang, Musa umar a.k.a. small, Hassan Isah and other accomplices involved in the Gishiri robbery were intercepted while enroute to an already planned armed robbery operation scheduled to hold at maitama in the early hours of this morning.

I honestly don’t support ladies exposing their bodies all over the place at weddings. As the bride, It doesn’t send the right message, it speaks louder than words about who you are and the kind of people around you.

Decency still has value. You can dress beautifully without revealing everything. Respect for yourself will always command more admiration than attention.

Meet Ferdinand, after 7 years of living abroad he returned home to spend time with his family. Tragically, his visit was cut short, & now he is gone

‎​At 29 years old, Ferdinand felt a deep longing for his family. He used his leave to come home & reunite with his mother, who had courageously raised him & his 2 siblings alone since his father's passing when Ferdinand was only 8

‎​Fortunately, Ferdinand received a scholarship to study & work abroad at age 22. He soon became the pillar of his family, ensuring his mother & younger siblings were well-cared for & happy.
‎​With a vision for the future, Ferdinand instructed his mother to build a lovely, suitable home for herself & another for him with the funds he sent. His plan was to return soon to marry & settle down with his long term girlfriend of 10 years..

When he arrived & saw the beautiful homes his mother had completed, he was overjoyed & deeply satisfied. ‎​After a few wonderful weeks with his mom & siblings. Despite his mom's refusals ,he insisted to visit his uncles in the village. According to him, he also wanted to share the happy news of his upcoming wedding, scheduled for a few months after he returned to his base.

‎​Unfortunately, on his way back from the village, while on an okada (a bike) Ferdinand was involved in a minor incident. The rider was completely unscathed. Ferdinand had only small scrapes on his knee & forehead of which he got a pharmacist to quickly tended to. And he was looking ok..

‎​Ferdinand later bought a ticket & traveled back to the UK. Heartbreakingly, just 3 days later, his family received a call informing them that their beloved son had passed away due to complications, suspected to be internal. ‎​Finally, Ferdinand was brought back home to be laid to rest.

Very heartbreaking
Rest in peace, dear Ferdinand.🙏
