THE DAY I BECAME HARD TO REACH, I BECAME HARD TO IGNORE
There was a time I was always available.
Call me — I’ll pick.
Text me — I’ll reply instantly.
Need me — I’ll show up, no matter what I was doing.
I thought that made me valuable.
But it didn’t.
It made me accessible.
And in a world where everything is easy to access…
nothing is truly respected.
People would ignore my messages for hours…
but expect me to respond in seconds.
They would cancel on me…
but get offended when I wasn’t free.
I was convenient…
not important.
Then one day, something shifted.
Not anger.
Not pride.
Clarity.
I realized something powerful:
People don’t prioritize what they can always have.
So I changed.
I stopped replying immediately.
I stopped over-explaining.
I stopped being available for everyone, every time.
I started protecting my time like it was money.
Because the truth is…
Time is more expensive than money.
And suddenly… everything changed.
The same people who ignored me started checking in.
The same people who delayed started responding faster.
The same people who took me for granted started respecting my space.
Why?
Because I was no longer easy to reach.
And here’s the truth most people won’t tell you:
Accessibility kills value.
Scarcity creates respect.
When you are always there,
people assume you will always be there.
But when your presence becomes limited…
your value becomes visible.

MONEY IS POWER (BUT ONLY IF YOU UNDERSTAND IT)
In a small street in Lagos, two boys grew up side by side.
One believed money was evil.

Years passed.
The first boy became a man who worked hard every day… yet stayed broke.
He said things like:
“Money changes people.”
“Rich people are greedy.”
“I'm just managing.”
The second boy became a man who studied money like it was a language.
He didn’t chase it… he understood it.
He learned one brutal truth early:
Money is not evil. Money is power.
Power to choose.
Power to walk away.
Power to protect your family.
Power to create opportunities where none existed.
While one man complained about life,
the other was quietly building leverage.
Because money doesn’t shout…
it moves things.
It decides who gets access.
It determines who is heard.
It influences outcomes long before effort even begins.
And here’s the part nobody tells you:
It’s not that the rich are smarter…
they just stopped being emotional about money.
They stopped saying:
“I just want to survive.”
And started asking:
“How do I control the system?”
Because once you understand money,
you stop begging for chances…
you start creating them.
