How I made a delicious shawarma using unriped plantain
I promised you all yesterday that I kindly share the process involved in making this delicacy 😋 and one thing I love about it is that everyone can enjoy it, including our aged parents or loved ones
My children already named it plantain shawarma and they keep asking for more of it over and over again on a daily basis, you can also try it out to see if your kids would love it
Some of the things I used include, Unriped plantain, raw eggs, veggies like fresh pepper, carrots, green beans yellow ball pepper, in fact you can add any veggies of your choice, meat of your choice, and groundnut/olive oil.
I made upto 20 wraps of shawarma and I used 20 pieces of unriped plantain and one create of egg because I prepared it for my son's birthday celebration
But you can always make any quantity of your choice
Always note that for two big plantain, you will use three eggs and 2 big plantain will comfortably make one wrap of plantain shawarma for you
At first, I thoroughly washed and peeled my plantain, and then set them aside, I carefully cracked the eggs in a separate bowl and also set that one aside also
I turned on my blender and blended the both together without adding any water, until it became so smooth. Then I started forming my wraps
On a clean pan, I greezed my pan with just a little oil and started adding the blended misture little by little to get our shawarma wraps
You have to make sure you add just little of this so that it won't be so thick so that it won't stress tou when you want to fold it, just add little and spread around the pan, after some seconds, flip the stuff and let the upper side het done aswel.
Continue this process until you are done with the number of wraps or shawarma you want to produce
Get another clean pan or pot, fry your already cut meats until well cooked, add your veggies and seasonings of your choice, stir and fry for some minutes, add your blended eggs and plantain and bring down after few seconds, please don't allow the plantain and egg to over done because it will serve as your mayonnaise in the shawarma
Remember to remain just little of your blended misture because you will be using it to lock your wraps after feeling so that it won't scatter in the pan
Stir thoroughly and bring down immediately
Start feeling the wraps with the already made source, wrap and lock them with your mixture and set them aside
Turn on your gas on a low heat, place your clean pot, place your wraps of shawarma but by bit so that everything will combine very well
Always stay close so that it won't get burnt, remember you will do this on a low heat.
After this, our yummy plantain shawarma is ready and can be paired with any drink of your choice
