The Kenyan lady who accused Cubana Chief Priest of being the father of her child has caused a stir online as she shared new photos of her son.

We reported in May 2023 that Cubana was accused of fathering a child outside wedlock. An Instagram blogger, Gistlover alleged that he had welcomed a baby with his side hen who resides in Kenya and had abandoned her.

Chief Priest debunked the reports, as he noted how he was rich enough to cater to any child he had outside of wedlock. He went on to dare the blogger to conduct a DNA test on the baby and vowed to double the expenses if the child was his.

A year later, the Kenyan lady has shared photos of him and many online users are noting the similarities between him and the toddler.

Naira Marley Returns To Lagos To Assist In MohBad's Death Probe

Singer Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has arrived in Lagos to assist in the ongoing probe of the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka MohBad.

The singer revealed this in a tweet on Tuesday, adding that he'd also be meeting with the police.

He wrote, "I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole.

"I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail."

MohBad died on September 12 at age 27.

MohBad was my friend, says late singer’s father

Aloba Joseph Oluwabamiwo, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, has described his son as a close friend and a contented child.

Joseph, who made this known during an interview with BBC Pidgin via its Instagram account on Tuesday, October 3, mentioned that he and his son shared common interests.

He said in Pidgin: "My name is Mr Aloba Joseph Oluwabamiwo, I am the father of the late MohBad, Ilerioluwa. MohBad is a very quiet someone, he doesn't talk, and whatever you give to him will satisfy him, He is my friend, and we normally move together, whatever am doing you will join me in doing it, we're just like brothers.

"Ilerioluwa is the kind of person who always wants to do whatever you do because he knows me as a musician, and whenever I'm going out he is ready to follow me, he dances, and sometimes he acts as my backup singer when am singing and that is how it started and I didn't even know he could sing but there was a time MohBad and I where doing one redeemed church and I promise him that when we finish this house am going to buy him a talking drum and he was happy, and after I bought him the drum, within three days he understands how to play the drum I was so surprise wondering the kind of his talent, he told me not to hire any talking drummer that he will the one to drum for me and ever since then he has been trying.

"I am a carpenter, and he joined my carpenter business, even when the market is not moving, MohBad will be the one to suggest he start making savings boxes or a stool so could be able to sell to get food.

Joseph further stated: "When he wanted to be enrolled in a higher institution, I took money from three microfinance banks in order to pay for his tuition fees, getting assistance from one of my friend's wife who stood as a guarantor for the loan, in fact, I sold my grinding machine which I use in my carpentering work.

On where MohBad's mother was, he said, "I don't want to talk much on that because that is my family affair but I will just mention a few.”

"There is a song of MohBad where he wrote, '10 years I no see mummy, my brothers are hungry'. According to what I taught him, use whatever you are going through to sing and don't try to be someone and he listened to that."
"First thing he sang was, how he went to school, how I gathered money, he used that to compose a song. That is the only way I will just mention something about my family."
