They say “move with grace,” and she became Grace — rewriting the future of fashion in the process.

The British-Jamaican powerhouse has officially made history as the new creative director of men’s ready-to-wear at Hermès — the first Black woman to ever lead a European luxury house, fulfilling a dream she once boldly spoke into existence.

Back in 2019, Wales Bonner shared her wish to helm a house with deep heritage — “To honor the framework, then disrupt the classicism within it.”
Six years later, the vision she declared has become her reality.

Celebrated for her masterful fusion of culture, craft, and couture, she has long evolved the meaning of luxury through her own label — refined tailoring infused with Jamaican rhythm and soul. And fresh from serving on the 2025 Met Gala host committee for Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, her move to Hermès feels less like coincidence and more like destiny aligning.

Her debut collection, coming January 2027, won’t just be a milestone — it will be a manifestation fulfilled.

A standing ovation is in order. Congratulations. ✨

Temi Peels Back the Curtain on the FINAL part of her wedding series — the design details 💍✨
From Iceland ❄️ to Dubai 🌙 to Monaco 🇲🇨 — every wedding had its own story, moodboard and intentional touch.

This episode is all about the textures, colours, culture and sentimental details that brought each celebration to life:

🔹 Iceland – Ice, fog, moss & lava rock inspired the tent design, tablescapes and floral textures
🔹 Dubai (Traditional Wedding) – A rich celebration of culture, colour harmony and symbolism
🔹 Monaco – (Earlier in the series) romance + elegance with personal touches throughout
🔹 Plus: custom wine, curated menus, fabric swatches, lantern obsessions, timeline chaos 😂 and the behind-the-scenes of “getting the shot”

It’s so beautiful seeing how much thought + intention went into every moment. Temi really treated this like a full design project — moodboards on moodboards! 🫶🏾

Swipe through the 20 slides to soak in all the inspo ✨
Would you pick Iceland, Dubai, or Monaco as your fave design chapter?
