HIS ONLY CRIME WAS SAYING NO
He wasn’t rich.
He wasn’t powerful.
But he was a good MAN
He had only one thing his INTEGRITY.
One afternoon, when the world was quiet and his MIND was full of dreams, a married woman who always eye him, finally came to him with an offer.
Not money. Not help.
But her body.
She whispered promises in his ear, pressing close to him, trying to draw him into a bed that was FORBIDDEN
But he looked her in the eyes and said no.
“No… I fear God. I cannot do this to myself, to you, or to your HUSBAND.
That single word—NO—became the crime he never knew he would be PUNISHED for.
Hurt by rejection, she swore he would regret it.
She plotted in silence, with the kind of wickedness only a bitter heart could nurture.
Days later, fate dressed itself in disguise.
She introduced him to a young girl—bright smile, soft voice, innocent eyes.
The man thought he had finally met someone pure. Someone true.
He laughed with her.
He began to dream again.
He thought maybe God had answered his prayers.

The married woman, standing at a distance, holding her daughter’s hand, watching him FADE.

His CHEST heaved with the last strength he had, but words refused to form.
Only tears rolled down his face.
Not for himself
But for the life cut short, for the love he never truly found, for the world that chose to punish him for doing right.
And then… silence.
His only crime… was that he said NO.
