I was reading an article about how young schoolers are obsessed with anti-aging skincare and bleaching creams now. It’s wild how marketing targets them so young.
Please have you noticed this with your kids?
How did you handle it?"
A mom once told me this recently, "My daughters has been begging me for Crop tops and it’s so hard to say no”. And I asked, why is it so hard to say NO?
But I was thinking about why they wanted it so badly, and I realized it’s entirely driven by Trends. It makes me wonder what values these trends are actually pushing on them.
Now It feels like childhood is so different.
When we were young, trends were silly toys, but now it feels like the trends are asking kids to grow up so fast and so silently affecting the peace of the home.
I’m here thinking how do we protect their childhood in the middle of all these?
