How do you handle the issues of non testimonial/review in your business?

You see, this issue of non testimonial/review? It is a little bit dicey, yes.

But I will tell you this, there's a way you can go about it.

When you make a dress for your client, ask them for the review. Yes, ask , when you ask for a review from them, please make sure you always ask for their permission before you post it on social media, yes!

I know that some of you will say shebi it is my job. Let me tell you this for free. Even if you are the one that makes those clothes in your office with your taperule, your scissors ✂️ and your sewing machine pls make sure you ask for permission before you post it online.

Now, let me tell you what has really helped me at onyxfashiongallery.

If i notice that this job I'm making is a good one and customers would like and might want the design, omo! I'm making a duplicate of that same work, may be in a different colour.

The reason is that i want the replica. I can decide to make it for myself or any of my staff so that i can be able to post it. In this way, nobody is going to sew me because I posted his or her work.

It is not your work it is now my own because I made it with my own fabrics and definitely in my own choice of colour.

So always ask for review, especially picture and video reviews. Don't say they won't send yo you. Ask them first. Ask them politely.

And when you get those kinds of reviews from them, then you post it online.

People want to see your work they need that clearity and evidence that you know what you are doing before they will come and patronise you.

As a small brand who is trying to grow in business, you need to do this.

Non fashion designers or tailor can equally apply this in their business.

And even when they give you a positive review, they would tell you to not post them. Like, they don't want to be posted .
