Founder: 'My company can be the next Uber. The next Airbnb.'

Me: That era is over.

2008-2020 was burn billions to win because you couldn't replicate the asset.

Uber = drivers
Airbnb = houses

Your SaaS? AI clones it tomorrow.

If you're building like it's 2015, you're already dead.

I was working on gRPC today… and here’s the simplest way to understand it.

What is gRPC?

A high-performance communication framework by Google.
It lets services talk to each other using binary Protocol Buffers instead of JSON.

Why is it better than normal HTTP/HTTPS?

Because:
•It’s much faster (binary > text)
•Uses HTTP/2 → multiplexing, streaming, fewer connections
•Strongly typed contracts via .proto files
•Smaller payloads → ideal for microservices
•Supports bi-directional streaming (something REST can’t do)

When should you use gRPC?
•Microservices that talk to each other inside your system
•Real-time communication (chat, live updates, streaming logs)
•High-performance internal APIs between backend services
•When speed and low late ncy actually matter

When is HTTPS/REST still better?
•Public APIs (browsers, mobile clients, external partners)
•When readability matters (JSON is easier to debug)
•When you want simple CRUD endpoints
•When you don’t want the overhead of creating .proto files

Drop your questions if any🙌

3. Use ₦5m buy land , acres for your village, not selfie plot.

Your future self go look you and hiss: “So this guy eventually get sense? Wonders shall never end.”😂

Invest first.
Shine later.

The irony of using LLMs to code is that they can only handle a task well if you already know how to do said task without the LLM and can describe it in specific technical detail, not just "build me a tinder for horses app and make it sleek and modern".

Vibe coding won't be optional in 2026. It will be mandatory.

The top 1% of performers are now producing 10x more because of it

Companies will DEMAND all employees can vibe code

If you haven't used Claude Code yet you're simply becoming less and less relevant every passing day

There are 200 Million Nigerians (at least)

More than 50 Million are actively online.

To build a mildly successful business in Nigeria what you need is just 1,000 people (out of an entire 50 Million) to buy from your business - in an ENTIRE year.

Think of it, if one thousand people spend 50,000 naira in your business in a year that is a 50 Million naira revenue.

If you capture just 30% of that amount as profit, you’d have a N15M profit.

Spread across 12 months that is a solid 1,250,000 a month income

People make this in a day, but let us not get ahead of ourselves.

Why am I sharing this with you? Simply to show you THE POSSIBILITY of what is possible.

You need to look at these things in these frames so you can get yourself out of despair.

The question is not ‘’where una dey see this money?’’ the right frame is: ‘’What can i sell to 1,000 Nigerians, repeatedly - such that each of these ONE THOUSAND persons can spend at least N50,000 in my business in one year’’

The right questions will set you free.

Why I Stopped Over-Engineering My Tech Stack

In the B2B world, we are often sold a lie: "You need complex cloud infrastructure to be taken seriously."

I fell for this trap early on. I spun up massive servers for simple tasks. My AWS bill was growing faster than my user base.

Then I made a shift. I started building with Go (Golang).
If you aren't technical, here is why that matters for business:

* Speed: It handles thousands of requests efficiently (great for the proxy service I'm building).

* Cost: It requires less CPU/RAM, meaning my server bills are lower.

* Simplicity: Fewer moving parts means fewer things break at 2 AM.

If you are a non-technical founder hiring developers, ask them: "Are we building this to scale to 10 million users tomorrow, or are we building this to be profitable today?"
Optimize for profit, not ego.

Stop Planning. You Are Already Late.
I was reading a report this morning about "Agentic AI"—the big tech trend for 2025. These are AI agents that don't just chat; they take action.

It made me realize something terrifying about business right now: The speed of ex*****on is the only competitive advantage left.
If you are sitting on a business idea today, waiting for the "perfect time" or the "perfect logo," you are losing. The barrier to building software has dropped to near zero, which means your competition isn't just the big guys anymore—it's everyone.

I used to be a perfectionist. I wanted my code to be elegant before I showed it to anyone. Now? I ship broken things and fix them on the fly.

Why? Because a broken product with users is worth infinitely more than a perfect product with none.
What are you delaying right now because it isn't "perfect" yet?

I miss the late 90s and early 2000s. We had the best movies, the best programming books, no social media, no endless scrolling, no online “experts”, not a million frameworks to keep up with, and no AI coding nonsense.

Our world is just filled with too much BS now.
